Huh. For some reason I thought it was a code that gave you another 1% off invoice. Well never mind then guess I'll leave that alone, no way Costco could get me a better deal than gupton gave me ?
I've used Costco buying services several times. The deals you get are different based on the vehicle's brand and supply/demand, and you have to go to very specific dealers. And some dealers are unwilling to honor the discounts on certain models, or only offer it on what is on the lot, so experiences will vary. However, when I custom ordered my Grand Cherokee a few years ago, it was a few % below invoice, and there were "cash back" bonuses to be used within the dealership (about $200 if I remember correctly). Super low stress, no negotiation required, and the dealership was happy to order my Jeep no questions asked. 15 minutes max in the dealership. And I spent most of the time sitting in the Vipers they still were selling.

OK, Jeep Chat says mine is built, but waiting on installation of additional equipment, whatever that means. I asked if that was code for floor mats but they did not know, lol.
Same here! Hopefully soon!

Just got back from my 600 mile trip back from Gupton. Renee came in on her day off to make sure things were taken care of. Here’s another 10/10 review with them. I was in and out in 20 minutes.

Starting to hear rumblings on the JLU sites that they are not currently taking orders for Diesel's. Not sure if it's quality related or part supply related. My case would point to both as I'm now 3 weeks out from my Jeep's arrival at the dealer and subsequent diagnosis of a fuel system issue upon arrival. Part is still on back-order, and no ETA for the part has been given.

Jeep Cares has finally started at least responding to my ticket, but the last 3 contacts have been to ask the same question re. who my dealer was despite putting that in my initial ticket. They need better stall tactics.

Well. You may be on to something. Here's the thread you may be referencing:

I may have to join the JL forum to keep tabs on that. However, pretty sure we've seen diesel JTs delivered recently, haven't we? I wonder when the last diesel JT was built? Somebody go scour that spreadsheet.

Me...

Last one shipped was 1/10 (@Tim Detour) ordered on 12/3... others either haven't shipped or the folks aren't updating the spreadsheet.

It’s too bad we don’t get all the information. I was dying to fill most of those blanks in that work sheet lol!
Yeah, my rig is supposedly stuffed in a train car somewhere in Ohio or on its way to Utah.

My diesel was JUST built on the 10th.
...well after my Jeep was delivered and diagnosed as having a bad fuel pump that they have zero stock to repair with. So frustrating man. I'm this close to just having someone order me another one if I can find a similar price with no deposit required...I honestly think Jeep can build a new one faster than they'll free up a part to fix one.

Maybe with the recent developments on the JL forum I'm wrong, but my answers thus far of "No ETA on the part," after 3 weeks don't give me warm fuzzies.

Possible shipping progress in Pacific Northwest - got word from dealership the train has arrived in Kent, WA and they’ve started unloading. He said: “it could show up tomorrow, or it could be a week. Depends on when they find a truck to move it.” ?

(Ordered 10/30, build complete 12/8 - Mojave with pretty much everything but ACC & smokers group)
