if that repair zipper works maybe try a hair dryer to warm up the leather a bit so it stretches for the zipper. if your worried about the leather, painters tape thin shop rags (or paper towels) over the leather to lessen the direct contact with the heat.Got the passenger seat done…kinda…took forever because I’m still not 100% from covid but also this was my first time doing this. Install wasn’t bad, however the side zippers are cheap quality. While zipping the left side up the zipper broke off. So now I can’t close that side of the seat. Gonna try a zipper repair kit or just take it to an upholstery shop and have them stitch it closed. Very happy otherwise. When I do the other seats extreme caution will be used at the zipper area. Hog rings were a bit of a learning curve but once figured out it’s easy.
just gonna do one seat at a time so this might take a while lol
