Spent the last 2 days installing the AEV 2" Mojave lift with their geometry correction brackets. But only the front half, that's as far as I got in 2 days (did it at a DIY shop with limited hours). Nothing was as easy as it seems. I thought Jeeps were supposed to be easy to work on????

Only half kidding. Main struggles were awkward angles to get torque to loosen on control arm and track bar bolts, there is not a lot of room between the bolts and the track bar/drag link/steering stabilizers/all the metal down there. And then had a hell of a time lining up the axle to get the shocks back in at the very end, that part alone took me about 2 hours to figure out. Oh, and then the shock extension brackets from AEV were too narrow to fit around the stock shock mounts, and I had to bend them in a vice.

For the next 24h, rocking the Carolina Squat until I get back in there and finish up with the rear. Hopefully won't have the same problems - although I am worried about being able to line up the axle without the ability to turn the steering wheel and shift it right to left. Oh, and have to realign the steering wheel too - I'm about 10 degrees from center and getting the ESC warning issue. Almost there!

Nice ! Do you pass though the back doors to get to the other side of the garage?
There is more room there than it looks like. In the front anyway.

Looks pretty level. Maybe just a hair high. I actually have a AEV 2" lift waiting to go in and have been debating maybe just throwing a 3/4 or 1-1/2" spacer in the rear (instead of the 2" spacer) to lose a little bit of the rake.

Installed the Mopar Trailer Brake Controller.

Dumb that Max Tow doesn't include these.
You didn’t by chance get a photo of where it plugs in under the dash did you? I was told by a dealer it couldn’t be installed on my JTRD. Benny said it could. I’d like to verify it can before I purchase. And yes…I have the tow package…. I was told the harness I’d have to tie into is taped up under there along side the steering column somewhere. Aside from that I really didn’t know what I was looking for.

…and how was the install?

New tires! Goodyear UltraTerrain in 285/70/17 installed on the OEM gloss black rims. E load rating, probably way overkill for my needs, but happy so far. Tires poke outside the fenders by maybe an inch. Perfect, in my opinion.

My local @Discount Tire shop got me in and out in 30 minutes. Awesome job.

I found out there is a Gray colored connector just on the left of the steering column taped to the wire harness

It will take just a few minutes for you to confirm that you have the harness. In that video when he is working under the steering wheel, he highlights the plug that you need. That kick panel under the steering wheel just pops off towards the rear of the Jeep.

Since you have trailer tow, you have the trailer connections by your rear license plate right? So you should have the plug under the dash, unless FCA did an FCA thing. Even then, if you don't have one, you just have to run the harness under the frame. It isn't a horrible job. The instructions outline it and give you the part number.

Install was straight forward. Getting the cigarette outlet out was a PITA. Took an alarming amount of force with three pocket flat heads. But the two videos I watch, neither had issues.

I have no idea where the box is supposed to mount. Maybe someone else knows.
