Yes probably true. Yet again let’s talk about about the difficulty of finding 37” in other countries , of finding decent used tires. Of loosing things like traction and grip. I mean it is a Jeep after all and I’m not talking about a regular vehicle in the US etc. I gotcha where your coming from it just doesn’t fit. He’ll only reason I’m thinking about using the under bead storage is for a second spare. I’m probably gonna run a swing out since I can’t fit a 37” on my alucab canopy camper.
I would advise against a swingout for the simple reason that the highway handling of the gladiator declines a Tremendous amount with any weight added rearward of the bumper !
Any idea what the actual mounted diameter of that wheel tire set up is?Already been confirmed, but just adding my pics of 37x12.5r17 BFG KO2 fits on the STOCK SPARE STEELIE with tons of room. Had it put on at discount tire today, told them to inflate to 15-20 PSI or so (I carry a portable ARB with me if I ever had to change tires). I went with the KO2 because it's known to run small, and while cheaper tires like Milestar Pat some have gotten to work, its been mixed across the board and I haven't seen many of those cheaper 37s successfully mounted on the factory spare, with the narrower rim that pushed the diameter out more. The BFG had tons of room and I bet I could air it up more.
No clue, I didn't measure it. It's also going to vary with PSI (its not fully inflated), the narrow steel spare rim, and obviously its not on the truck. I can try measuring it tomorrow but I don't know how relevant it would be to anyone's use considering those factors. All that's pertinent for my use is that it fits under the bed haha
did Interco change names or what? Those are boggersBadak X-treme 37x11.5 fit, 0 psi and lots of cussing. It is true to size 37”.
These are made in Indonesia.
Clearly very similar, but if you closely, the shape of the lugs is just a bit different.
