When it finally arrives (supposedly this week), I’ll post a pic of my own personal parking spot at the high school I teach at.

And they all know it’s MY spot ?

I’d cooled down by the time the owner came out. Fella in his fifties or early sixties. Told him it’s pretty frustrating working your ass off to buy and then maintain your nice things, only to have someone carelessly run into it ??‍♂ Wasn’t a big deal, plastic bumper and didn’t do any damage to it.

And then I got a chip in the windshield on the drive home. ??Guess I was getting karma from something I did ??‍♂

People are strange sometimes, do you think she parked close to you on purpose or just doesn't care and didn't like being called out on it?
My vote goes for the called out.

Spot on, Phil. This happens everywhere now. It is as if those painted lines are suggestions and made for somebody else. A while back, I parked next to a vehicle that was tires on the line, driver's side. I parked evenly between the lines. Went inside and ordered lunch. About halfway through the meal a waitress went around asking who owned the white truck in the lot. I owned up but the waitress gave me the that's ok, keep your seat high sign. About 20 minutes later, after paying my bill, I went out to see these two obese welfare queens yabbering on the phones in front of my truck. I politely said "excuse me" as I tried to pass both of the walruses on the sidewalk. As soon as they realized I owned the truck, the largest one shouted "why you park like dat?" The reply? "What, you mean centered in the spot? You're the one who needs to learn how to park" They were about to start physically hitting my truck until I lifted my shirt and revealed a concealed. Priceless reaction.

I am retired. I am done with putting up with stupid.
Amen...

Happens to me sometimes to. I think it's something about the weird fenders on jeeps that makes people think they need less room than they do. It seems to happen way more in my jeep than when I had a car. The other day when I picked my daughter up from daycare, we both had to get in from the passenger side, because someone was that close. Usually I try to park as far away from everyone as I can. (unless I see another Jeep:)). This time, I was just going in and out, so I parked in the front row. I come back out, and can't get in.
Nope. People just suck. You’re giving them excuses here.

That picture makes me cringe. I usually always park far away but sometimes this winter I'll park a little closer if my wife and 9 month old is with me...well we finally had a nice day today in Ohio and washed and waxed my truck and found a small dent from some POS hitting my truck. Put me in THE worst mood. No one would notice unless I pointed it out but I know right where it is and it's all I can think about today lol

Well, this thread sure managed to get all the passive-aggressive a-holes in one spot...
Nah, some of us are the kind of people who, when showing a coworker how to do something on ‘their’ computer, are brave enough to creep them out by putting our hand on top of theirs in a soft subtle creeper way, on the mouse, to drive said mouse…..rather than asking permission to drive. LOL, it’s our way of getting inside their heads and letting them know we’re willing to get into their sh!t, on a personal level. No passive aggressive sh!t. Head games or a little more…. yes, like teabagging their coffee cups.

Parking at the end of the lot where it’s dead and someone parking next to you, feels almost as bad as someone intentionally using the urinal next to you when there are 4 others open at the opposite end.
