I’m a Bronco owner too, so I’m on the bronco forum. I see this guys videos all the time and yes, he try’s to power through everything and constantly breaks his bronco. His main Bronco has 40s on it. One video it broke on the first obstacle, while stock broncos completed the trail. He also puts water or something in the front tires to weigh them down. It’s not a shocker things are breaking.

He must have a crap load of money to toss and these trucks.

It definitely didn’t help that he turned the wheels to the passenger side as he was nearing the bottom. You can even hear the spotter yelling “driver!” a couple times. Had he turned the wheels that way it’s likely he’d have been just fine.

The guy is clearly an idiot.

I'm unskilled off road compared with many of you. So I'm cautious.

This guy is unskilled but doesn't seem to know that.

**edit - ok the guy isn't an idiot. He has somehow figured out how to make enough money so he can haul around $250k worth of gear and take his family with him.

Maybe he enjoys breaking stuff and has the money so it doesn't hurt. Either way. Its not how I'd do things but I shouldn't judge.

That last honk of the horn cracked me up. Thats a big bummer. Seems like there must be a phrase similar to “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” in these types of situations.

I read that he claims the engine died. And that the horn was a result of the alarm activating. Trying to back down a steep hill is no fun at all.
I’ve been on obstacle before that my engine cut out… you lose everything, so I get it.

Like I said … I hope everyone is okay.

I used to have a YJ with the carburetor issue. If you had an aging YJ you probably know what I'm talking about (would lose pressure when at idle, including clutch activated for gear change). I would lose the engine on mountain roads when shifting. Got really good at fluttering the right pedal while using the clutch. Coming to a stop meant using all three pedals at once!

But yeah - engine out with 35s and the loss of power steering is... bad.

Same thing has happened to lots of jeeps there’s really nothing to see here but some Bronco hate
I can't open the video either but yeah it sounds more like user error than Bronco error.

We're going to get more bad-azz Wranglers and Gladiators because of Broncos and (the forecoming) Bronco Truck so every time Ford moves the Bronco needle, Jeep owners should be celebrating.

Thought the bronco truck was cancelled last year? Is it back?
