Last night I was laying in bed and heard a horn honk that sounded like my Gladiator, but I looked out the window and and saw nothing. However, my low fuel warning turned on as I drove home from work yesterday and I was too lazy to stop. So, my remote start would not have worked. I Didn't think much of it until now. I have the origianl Tazer JL that I've had since 2018 and pulled out of my 2018 JL Wrangler when I sold it and bought my Gladiator in October. I've have 2 different dealers blaim issues on it and they were both wrong. I've used it on both Jeeps to change tire size and various other thing without issue. The things worked great since I bought it. Do you have a subscription to Sirius XM Gardian? I do and I've seen some pretty wonky behavior from that and it would surprize me if that was the issue.

Well I think she misses you and is trying to get your attention. She wants to go out and play.
Let me ask you, do you just park her and just walk away ?
I always look back at mine and smile.
You're WEIRD:CWL:

Last night, in the middle of the night - the Gladiator honks twice and remote starts up. Is anyone else experiencing similar?!?! No FOBs in play, no close neighbors (rural area), no intruders - no nothing. It just remote starts up by itself. I have noticed the last week that I'll occasionally hear a single "honk" from the garage, but last night was disconcerting.

I've had the Rubicon over a year and never had this problem until :

- I got a lift and 35's and had them put a mini taser in.
- I ran ONE of my FOBs thru the wash. But I cleaned it thoroughly with 99% alcohol, REPLACED the battery, and it has been working "as expected".

I'm not sure if either of these incidents has anything to do with the random honks / starting. Anyone else experienced issues like this? Or do I just have a ghost in the house?

Oh - and a couple of questions:

- If remote started - how long will the gladiator "run" without the human "start process". I'm worried that if I'm not at home it will just run and run....
- Is there a way to disable "remote start"?

Hope I can figure this out.
Its telling you to come out and play!!

If you were ever thinking of a name for your Gladiator I think you found it.

You could keep the fob in a faraday bag or box.

I'm going with the Ghost hypothesis. It's the most logical.

I experienced multiple issues related to the key fob after it went through the laundry in my coat pocket. I can drive the vehicle with the fob in my pocket, but if i press any buttons, the panic alarm is triggered and can only be reset with the other good fob. I took it apart and left it open for a week to dry out, but still no good.
Got a quote from the dealer for a replacement fob - $230 which includes reprogramming -both- fobs.

I would never purchase a Taser for my Jeep
How are you changing for tire sizes? Dealer flashing your computer or ??

Seems to be luck of the draw on going thru the washer. Some seem to be OK, and others are FUBAR.
