2 days later and $893.01 after placing the order, the bestop sunrider arrived! Box had some holes and was dented (thnx UPS!) I was afraid the unit inside was damaged. Nope. It was packed nicely from the factory, thank goodness.
Now I get to enjoy it this weekend! I won't be using my freedom panels anytime soon. Woot-woot!

I plan on doing the same thing to my rear LCA’s when the weather warms up. My alignment specs are spot on, but my springs seem overly bowed. Spoke with Clayton and they said ”actually, everything looks good”, but I want to bring them in a tad. Did you have to chock the wheels then put it in neutral to push the axle forward once you shortened the control arms?
Sure did! Chocked the front wheels and put it all in neutral. Then put a jack under the point where the driveshaft and diff meet (pinion or pinion yoke?) just enough to be snug. Once I pulled the LCAs i used the jack to slowly lower the rear to let new longer arms in.

I had them set to nearly 1in longer…not good. i reset the clayton rear LCAs so they are 1/16 longer than stock. Didn’t make a huge difference in the rear springs. But it makes me feel better! Ill drive it for a bit and see but i MAY add another 1/16 over stock.

Cold Windy day in NC but still managed to install a pair of CMM mirror mounts shortly after delivery in preparation for doors off season.

Looks great. And I need to buy this now. And is that a 67d ball attached? Got links?

Windy and rain in Central NC all day. Hoping tomorrow is warmer and not near as windy!

haha you and I are very similar. The dude from Clayton basically said it will make little to no difference if I bring the axle forward a bit, but it will make me feel better haha. I looked into front LCA drop brackets as well to get my front LCA’s more parallel to the ground. Probably gonna go with AEV’s. Trying to perfect my suspension!

Any issues with the taillights? Looks great. I have the pre runner lights and a Mojave and thinking of doing the same.
I get the "turn signal not working" message, but everything works just fine. I personally don't give two shit I get a meaningless warning. Fitment isn't like the stock units, but it doesn't bother me. It's not near as bad as some have experienced.

I also did the drop brackets in the front. They made a huge difference in the steering

Did you have to fully collapse the front LCA’s for them to fit?
