Costing much more. A rear locker can be added, but having LSD is close. Adding similar suspension isn't going to break the bank either.Don't fret the Max Tow label. With the Mojave you get so much more and a tow capacity close to the same. The Mojave has locking rear axle, great offroad suspension, gusseted and beefed frame, Mojave hood etc. The Gladiator is not a great tow vehicle. If you need a tow vehicle get a Ram with a diesel.
*7000 on Rubicons with automaticMax tow is only an option on Sport, Sport S and Altitude package, with max tow rated at 7,650 lbs, all the other trims have a max of 6000 lbs with the auto transmission.
I dunno why I didn’t include them because I did know that, was just thinking 6,000 because of Mojave and Overland and remembered it’s because they have softer suspension than that of the Rubi.*7000 on Rubicons
Can confirm haha*7000 on Rubicons with automatic
Altitude is in the same category as Sport and Sport S, clearly Max Tow package is available on that trim as well, just not "high altitude" so you stand corrected, good day.
actually this is not correct. The Max Tow is not available on the altitude. I just tried to order one a couple weeks ago. Its not an available option. But it doesnt really matter because the Sport S can be built just the same with Max Tow. The Altitude just offers a couple more options as ‘standard’.He is correct. The Altitude, not High Altitude can be built with the max tow option.
Could you share some links? I have been curious what is different other than suspension and axles. Been wondering if there are any changes to the frame as wellIf it's not a SPORT with the text stating MAX TOW, no it is not and no you can't possibly just add parts to make it one. That's been discussed at great length over hundreds of posts in many threads.
There's a lot more to it than the parts - center of gravity, weight of the truck and other factors along with the progressive springs, tire size, etc.
Mojave wasn't made to be the tow champ of Gladiators, it was made for other special purposes.
Summary -
No Mojave, no Rubicon, no Overland can have the max tow package and rating.
Lol, yeah it is just not High Altitude, check the website.actually this is not correct. The Max Tow is not available on the altitude. I just tried to order one a couple weeks ago. for reference as of last week the spec for the Rubicon is tow capacity of 7,000 - which is just 650#’s short of the Max Tow.

I realize this. Jeeps website is wrong. The dealer was not able to order max tow with altitude. i even contacted Jeep directly and was told the same thing
