I wonder if I could relocate the OEM camera that way. My only disappointment with having the trail cam is I can’t have that hood lock. I’d rather have that then locking latches.

I don't know how the factory cam are mounted, but maybe a custom bracket would do.

Penetrated the nipple with aux switch harness and front trail cam CVPM power wire. Lot of lube still there. I'll be here all week.

Rather than doing a bedside rail system or using Uni-Strut, I found small tie-down rings on Amazon and gave them a try. Under $20 and I now have 12 places to connect straps or bungee cords in the bed. I located and drilled the bedliner, then used a fender washer against the bedliner to cover the larger “exploration hole” . I secured the ring with a stainless washer, stainless lock washer and graded M6x1.0 bolt that was 20mm long. A dab of silicone on the threads will hopefully keep the bolt secured.

I also installed LED bulbs in the fog lamps, DRL’s, front turn signals and reverse lights. I just did it last night, so I haven’t driven it yet, but there was a BIG difference in the garage against the wall and garage door.

Installed Rough Country contoured drop steps last night. Happy with the look. Just wish RC would protect the product a little better. I need to touch of a few spots where the powder coat wore off during shipping. Hopefully they last a long time. They are very sturdy.
