I got MC quick disconnects with my MC lift. I’m wondering if I’m the only one that has to use a hammer to tap them off/on when I disconnect them?! They are a PITA! Driver side is much easier than the passenger side! Any suggestions out there?

That's the nature of quick disconnects, they're a major PITA to get on and off. My Synergy's were the same way. One trick to getting them on is to have someone rock the vehicle while you try to reattach, usually with a rubber mallet. WATCH YOUR FINGERS!

If you want some other options:

1: Apex Autolynx, what I upgraded to after getting tired of the Synergy's, twist the knob and go. $450 last I checked.

2: Rock Jock anti rock sway bars $550 (basically a REALLY soft sway bar)

What size lift are you running with the Apex. Trying to make sure I have mine at the right setting.

Fair warning, I bought my truck used and it was already lifted, the lift kit is still a 20% mystery to me, my best guess is it's a Ready Lift 2.5 inch lift, I've taken apart the lift to add the Mojave suspension and that was the most similar lift kit to what I was taking off. I also dropped the bumpstop from a 2 inch to a 1 inch for better flex.

No rubbing/binding issues whatsoever. I'm running the Apex 10.5 inch stroke (also gives room for a bigger lift later on if wanted), at the 10.2 setting. Apex recommends that you measure the links that you removed, and set them to that, if you're in-between sizes, round UP. My links were 10 inches, so 10.2 setting.

They also recommend you set the logo on the link facing forward, so the knob faces front/back depending on locked/unlock. I realized this after the locktite set, and since I didn't have any binding issues, I let it be. Didn't even need to adjust the liner.

I like those but currently at budget! At least until the bonus comes through!
So I have a question? The passenger side is like binding on the lower bushing? Like it isn’t completely lined up? Driver side can be removed by hand but not passenger side. A friend at work suggested that adjustment is needed to center the axle just a bit to get the angle right. If I look close the tire does look poked out further than driver side but only a little bit. I will post pics later today. Will his suggestions work?

There are two things you can check, in order:

1: Make sure that if you got a adjustable track bar with your lift, that your track bar is adjusted so the axle is now centered. When these vehicles are lifted, the axles will shift, adjustable track bars correct this.

2: Make sure your sway bar is centered, your sway bar can move between the bushings its attached to on the frame. You can loosen the bolts that attach it to the frame, or you can try moving it by hand/with a rubber mallet

Instead of shifting the axle, which means having to get alignment etc. Can I just shift the sway bar a bit to take the angle out of the link?

this sounds terrible, but i stopped disconnecting them cause of the PITA they are. ive done several trails with success and while i know its not ideal, id rather not deal with it.

It would be best to make sure that the axle is centered properly before you mess with anything else, as the axle will affect the whole geometry of the suspension. However, I believe as long as the tires are within 3/4 of a inch or so of each other relative to the truck, then that is acceptable.

I don't see an issue with just adjusting the sway bar if the above is true, try disconnecting your links first and wiggle the sway bar back and forward while pushing towards the side you need to adjust to. If that doesn't work, I believe the bolts are 15mm, just loosen them a bit and make your adjustments. There won't be much adjustment on the sway bar, so your mileage on success may vary.

Just grab the front tow hook and shake the jeep and it will disconnect.

If your not on 100% flat ground its a pita.
