Is there a write up on how to do this?
When I get to a regular computer and not my phone, I will see what I used and found.

I have not seen a exact step by step with pictures on it. Mainly used a thread on JL forum side on the subject, a block simplified diagram and just went for it.

I will say once started, be all in on it as you will not want to try and put everything back to original. Need to be comfortable opening and separating tesa taped wrapped harness and fabricating a heavy gauge jumper wire to run between two terminals on the fuse box studs.

Yesterday I put in the Rusty’s track bar brace, Rock Krawler track bar, and Clayton steering Stabilizer relocation with an AEV stabilizer.
I know most SS relocation kits say at least 2ā€ of lift required, and I have 2ā€ spacer lift.
There’s definitely interference with the SS and the drag link/track bar at full lock turning left.

I have the shock adjusted all the way to compression basically turning right, so I can’t adjust it any further left. And I actually have the bracket flipped 180’ because the way it’s supposed to go, with the SS mount on the rear side of the bracket, it was even more buried into the track bar.
So I guess now I need a bigger lift??ā€ā™‚
I really should’ve taken the time to drop the drag link so I could drill the hole for the Clayton relocation bracket correctly; I was at a little downward angle and I think I walked the bit a hair.
It looks ok but I think if the hole was higher and the bracket was a couple degrees more clockwise, the SS would be straighter.. it’s just barely torqueing the bushing?

Edit: oh yea added the Clayton FAD skid. Had to take off the Rock Hard LCA skid, will find some time to grind that puppy down so they both fit.

With the help of forum member jebiruph, started to un-mod my JT for eventual trade-in on a 2022 if it ever gets built.
Started by taking the weight off the front - I didn't want to go back to the stock front springs and remove the Daystar spacers with the weight of the steel bumper, winch and skid plate on it.
Removed front receiver, winch, wiring, skid plate, and put it all back to original.
I see several areas I will do differently next time. Wasn't happy seeing some of it while taking it apart. I know I can do a much better, neater, job next time.

Now I have rows of parts laying on the garage floor until I organize things and put them away for when the new one arrives.

Added the Teraflex 1.5ā€ leveling kit. Kicked my old ass so bad I Just finished about an hour ago. Never should have tackled it on my own. Fingers quit working halfway through. Got her done with some additional help from a neighbor who came over and jumped in. Good people everywhere! I’ll post picture tomorrow. ✌

Edit: Don’t look like that much but the difference is clear to me.

When your fingers start working again, fill me in as to why it kicked so bad. Trying to convince myself to do a rubicon suspension swap on my sport s in my own garage.

I’m a disabled man who refuses to accept limitation even when my body forces me to. The kit went on fine as expected but my body/hands just wouldn’t cooperate though the process. Looks great, just took longer then normal person would do. We soldier on. If your a young man, you’ll be fine. I’d still ask for some help.

Those included 1ā€ bump stops were a MF.?

Well I’m sorry to hear that but Glad to hear about fighting through it.

Just saw your profile. I’m currently sitting in a hotel on Mackinac island and would’ve been happy to help had I known.

Man, I tell you what. Looks like your post history is right up my alley. I love the tailgate black graphic too.

have you been out with the Drummond island stuff or any Michigan outings? I’ve gotten back my jeep 7 months ago, after years away, and getting the itch to get out on some trails.

As an old, tired, worn out, beat down, fugger who was paralyzed back in 2014 and lost use of his right arm, I am hearing your struggle. Was a strapping healthy 260lbs when they lifeflighted me, six weeks later when I was released muscle atrophy had taken me down to 225.
Had to relearn walkin and all that shit but the right arm remained just skin and bone. Can’t raise it above my waist, and I’m right handed.?
The wife and kids hate how hard I push myself but I tell them ā€œI might go down, but I’m going down swingingā€. I refuse to perish due to lack of trying.
I know there’s a lot of older dudes in similar predicaments with the same outlook. To you I say Rock On.
And I have that same leveling kit along with the Mopar LCAs to do by myself when my truck gets here.?
