So is this actually something that I’m going to need prior to my flight in order to be able to use my phone for my “Road Trippin” playlist on my 750 mile drive home in my new Gladiator?
Seems with today’s technology an iPhone 11 Pro would be able to link to the “infotainment” system.
Jeezus, my 2011 Sahara had a CD player and a hard drive that I could download music to. Would give anything to have those abilities on a 2022 vehicle.
Put all your music on a thumb drive and plug it in. The Jeep has a pretty good interface to scroll through the folders and songs.

Just having a little fun. Yours will be here soon, and then yours will be newer and less beat up.

Not ALL, but some of my music is on two 2TB hard drives.

I mean you can hook up via Bluetooth and play your music and have google maps or Apple Maps play for directions, just won’t have the car play interface is all…. If you want car play bring your apple cord….

Thanks. I’m going to research this car play thing. I’m not familiar with it at all.
I have had experience with Ford Sync and Honda Link, not impressed by either.
Was perfectly happy with my Samsung android phone but my daughter insisted I become the new owner of her old iPhone 11 Pro.
So Car Play is Apple?
Off to investigate…

Unless I'm missing something, you can certainly add a spacer to the front if you desire to.

If you're going to chose one or the other and you don't need the hitch for towing, the step at least has additional functionality. ?

::edit:: although to be fair I can't think of a time I'd be stepping into the truck over the tailgate and not just dropping the tailgate.
I have called several dealers that sell leveling kits. Most recently Fishbone Offroad. They stated that with the Mopar lift, Mopar changed the design or designed their springs so that when you use the leveling kit it causes the springs to bow really bad and gives you a rough , harsh ride. They recommended against it. Here's a direct quote " They will not work with the springs, Mopar changed the top slightly so if you stack the spacer it causes the spring to bow in the shape of a banana and it rides rough." So at this point it would be nice to hear from someone that has actually installed a kit on a diesel with the Mopar lift.

I wanted them mostly for added protection.... I have a lot of young people(I live very close to a couple high/middle schools) and they constantly text and drive... people getting rear-ended around here is common. The "step" actually has support bars underneath it, just hard to tell from the pics , but the actual "hitch" is nice incase I need to tow. I know I'm way over thinking it... probably don't need either... lol .... but what's the fun in that.

I like a hitch skid better for this. I leave mine on all the time. If rear ended, I’ve got a shot that the other car will slide under a bit, reducing the severity of the impact.

He's just jealous that you have something to put parts on. Our Jeeps have been stuck in Utah for a couple weeks now and no sign of delivery to final destination yet. I am another one with a pile of boxes in the garage waiting for a Gladiator to be in my driveway.
I had rims, tires waiting on TPMS sensors for 6 months in my living room....
