I’d rather have shiny military, than no military colors. Jeep has needed to make straight Olive Drab with a clear coat for a long time.Ehh, I really like them both. I like the color of gator better, but the flatness of sarge is appealing.
I had a friend point out that Gobi and Gator are a little on the shinyer side of things to be true military colors. I kind of agree with him there. But Sarge is to dark as well.
Gecko has been around for a long time...I had a 2012 JKR Gecko. It's a hot/fluorescent greenAre there pictures of these colors available?
- Sarge
- Nacho
- Gecko
Yes - we got that from the first post. We are curious as to why.......Steel.
good point. an OD green would be awesome. that thing would sell nice.I’d rather have shiny military, than no military colors. Jeep has needed to make straight Olive Drab with a clear coat for a long time.
Sorry, it confused me when you referred to a 4.1 transfer case because I figured you meant that the build app was changing the 4.1 diff (which it does, in fact, change.)But to clarify, your original post said I was confused between transfer case and differentials. No, I was confused not knowing there was 2 different Rock-Trac systems.
Considering how impressed I was with the 73:1 crawl ratio I had in my 6Sp TJ Rubicon, that is awesome. I guess they stuck with the 3.73 for fuel economy and felt it's all they needed with the Diesels torque.BTW & FYI, with the 4:1 transfer case and the 3.73 diff you end up with a 77:1 crawl ratio rather than 84:1 (with the 4.1 diff.)
I think I mispoke because those ratios are with the 6-speed, which I don't think you can have with the diesel. Is that correct? (I can't get the 2021 build site to work now.)Considering how impressed I was with the 73:1 crawl ratio I had in my 6Sp TJ Rubicon, that is awesome. The 8-speed gives you
70:1 with 4:1 & 3.73 diff.
77:1 with 4:1 & 4.1 diff.
It worked for me the other day for a 2021 diesel and all. I saved the configuration and now when I try to use the saved link it takes me back to 2020 and all my 2021 saved specs are now gone. Getting really pissed off at Jeep at this point in time. What is the normal wait time to see the 2021 build specs on the official jeep website? Should we expect it by say November?
It would be 6000 upcharge for me. I am super happy with my 3.6 and MT.then again, the 4,000 up charge will never pay off for most people
