If it winds up being true that the manual is out then boy am I glad I snagged a 2024 Rubicon with a manual. Now I just need to hope the engine lasts forever.

I saw the same thing. But I also don't know if I know how to read these docs. It's strange considering the only engine option I see is the V6, and yet on the 2025 Wrangler the V6 is exclusive to a manual transmission and the automatic is locked to the 2.0 turbo. I also don't see mention of a 4XE.

Maybe they removed it because of issues with the manuals before which you would think just fix the problems for the next model year but I guess it easier to remove it altogether.

The 3.6 is used all over the product lineups. I’d bet you’d have no problem finding a six figure number of them from a minivan, coupe, sedan, or other pickup for next to nothing. Diesel may be a little more difficult but can’t be that bad either.

Agreed. Not hard to find a 3.6 with transmission pull out from a Gladiator. There are two advertised local to me right now.

So I was reading up on the 2025 Wrangler this morning and thought, well they didn't do much but make the standard tranny change with the V6 and some color additions, so not much. They made no effort with the 2025 JT.

Even with the 7% under invoice the 2025 Sport is still $12k more than I have found 2024's here. Power windows and locks are not worth that.

I’m skeptical that they killed the manual. Jeep has done this before - auto only runs at first and then MT shows up. If not, my first Gladiator will be my last new one.
