Jeep Gladiator 35's vs 37's? IMG_7118

35x12.5x17 Mickey Thompson Baja Legends MTZ to 37x12.5x18 Nitto Recon Grappler. 3.5 inch Metalcloak lift.
Had no issue with 4.10’s. Recently went to 4.88’s because of towing a travel trailer - definitely notice improved performance towing. Noticed improved performance when not towing (it is really nice) but the coin you gotta drop to regear I would not have done if not needing improvement for towing.

I have a rubicon diesel on 37’s. Going on 40k ish miles. They run great Yokohama geolander MT’s. Getting a little loud in the last 4k miles. But nothing crazy. Will get another set when due for replacement.
- 18-21 mpg loaded.

Is that an ARE camper shell you have there? If so is it the standard or HD? How much weight are you putting up there? Love the look! Thanks!

Looks good! How heavy is your travel trailer? Who did your re-gear in OK?

I need to stop reading these threads... I was so happy having decided to go with 35" pizza cutters when the time came to change tires...

Never mind me... carry on...

What was the labor cost for the mopar kit?
I did it myself. Cost me like 3 hours of my time lol. Took that off and upgraded to a @Metalcloak gamechanger lift 6 months later.(also did that myself.)

I feel like I’m going to need to buy more tools and bandaids.
I believe you just missed the Harbor Freaight Sidewalk Sale. Wait for that to come around again for some pretty good savings. For bandaids I can’t really help ya. I just use grease and a lil dirt. :like:

Parking lot sale ends when they close tomorrow, so he still has time.

Just blew $4k on a cap and rooftop tent. Gonna have to wait another paycheck or two for that trip. Haha. Bought a newer jeep than expected and blew up the build budget right away, so it’s a slower road. Will get to camping right away and then spend the year building it for trips out west for next year.
