I went straight to 38s and am happy that I did. My next set will be 39's.

Whatever the issue is...I know you'll figure it out.
Thanks. Gonna start with pulling the plugs to take a look at them and go from there.

How many miles on you JT? I know when I first got mine, for like the first 500-1000 miles maybe a little more it seemed like a dog. I was really disappointed. I actually felt like my JKU with the 3.8L on 37s had more snot to it. I don't know if it was a break in or just me being cautious cause it was new. But then it just seemed to change and totally wake up. I installed my lift and 37s at about 1800 miles. Have 10.5K on it now and happy with how it drives. Would always like more power, but who wouldn't

No regrets..........went with 35's. 35's are a big heavy tire, IMO! Dealer pumps them to 42psi and rode ruff. Dropped to 38psi and much better ride but lost over 1 mpg. But big tires looks cool!

ive got 5k on it. first 1500 miles seemed to have more oil in the catch can than the last 3500, but i havent noticed any other changes.

I just installed a catch can on mine. Amazing how much oil it has caught in a short period.

not at all. Just northern virginia. Im on the stock 33” mud terrains and im lucky to see 18 or over, never once seen anything over 20. it cant hold 8th gear to save its life on even the smallest of inclines, and frequently needs 6th. It absolutely struggles for power at 70-75mph. Probably getting 10-14 up hills.

i rented a sahara in colorado and got 24.5 avg for the week, trails included, but that was on the smaller lighter passenger tires.

i have no clue how people claiming to get 22 on off road tires, much less 35’s, get that. I dont see how its remotely possible. 18.5 in town is better than i get with my cruise control set on the interstate.
This 100%.

Curious if anyone saying 37s with 4.10s automatic is fine have towed anything? I have towed with stock tires, max tow, and 34” tires. The 34” tires made a noticeable impact on power towing 3500lbs I cannot imagine what it would be like with 37” tires.
I towed a 4500 lb trailer about 500 miles mostly flat terrain and only problem I encountered was wanting more power at 70 mph, got 11.2 mpg on trip.

I think my response is going to be contrarian to most. I had a 2019 JLUR that I moved from 35” KO2’s to 37” Ridge Grapplers. I loved the look but it does compromise ride quality and drive a bit. It’s not drastic and I did not re-gear. If you are mostly on road, like 95% or more, I would consider sticking with 35’s. Now I just got my Gladiator Mojave, just lifted it, and put on 35” KO2’s the other day. I love it as much as I thought I would. Just my perspective.
Can you post pics of your Mojave. I’m debating on 35s over 37s on mine. I really don’t want to regear and I want to maintain the stock ride.

Here is my Mojave on stock suspension and 37s. Wheels 17x10 +12 offset, Nitto 37x12.50r17 Ridge Grappler tires. No clearance issues. The ride quality actually improved over the factory M/T tires. The added sidewall height made it ride smoother.

I have a strong feeling you’ll have contact when you take that off-road unless you add bump stops to compensate. You’ll of course lose up travel though.

No clearance issues on road maybe but have you had that off road at full stuff?
