.......

But, I still maintain that back in 2020 when I had my Max Tow JT engineers were telling us that the 2.0T wasn’t going to be offered because they couldn’t keep it cool enough during SAE J2807 testing and I don’t see how a V8 is going to help that cause any. So I’ll believe it when I see it. I think they either don’t do a V8 for JT, OR maybe they do it but they drastically reduce towing capacity which is the opposite of what pickup buyers want. Tough either way…
You guys aren't still waiting for a V8 Gladiator that is not coming, are you?

Was that one foretold by Nostradamus, tea leaves, rolling the bones, ancient runes, the stars, or chicken blood?

18mpg in a 3.6....

How? Stock Mojave.... 14. I can get 18 if I drive 65mph for 2 hours on a flat freeway.
I average 18.5-18.8 typically.

Touch 19 on occasion.

One would think, especially this particular version, that these "giveaways" would trigger some type of government reaction at some point, but they just keep doing it and getting away with it.

A lot of these "Giveaways" of vehicles by these Youtubers is run through third party companies that handle all the legal stuff. They are tied into other third party merch companies that deal with the entry requirements.

100%, they've approached me a dozen times lol.

Just, as much as the government loves to regulate things, find it hard to believe they're not after this crap. Especially when TK's are clearly bullshit, comments full of people who never got their entry, no one can ever find a winner, announcement never seems to go out.

2020 JTR w/3.6L & automatic transmission. ~68k miles with NO major issues yet. A few cheap minor repairs all performed by myself (sealing the rear window, replacing the cheap plastic sun visor supports, aux battery delete: all totalling just under $30). Running Milestar Patagonia XT 35"x12.5"R17's currently on 17"x9" -12mm offset rims, and getting 19-21 mpg on average.

On the stock 33" Falken AT's I was getting 21-23 on average, and once managed just over 25 mpg on a tank full, just to prove it could be done. It's no fun driving that way though.

Like an old Florida Trooper once told my younger brother.... "Ya got ta keep yer foot out ta carburetor son!"

With all the auto companies that Stellantis owns, I don't understand why "someone" out there doesn't have a powerful 4 or 6 cylinder turbo that "might" make some of us happy. They did it with the Italian 3.0 diesel, and who knows what else is available for an off the shelf engine.

Now that I think about it, maybe it's because many of the more powerful engines are diesels that are sold in Europe and not here.

I could only guess.
