They also said they can work with your insurance to do the swap, if you accidently "blow" your stock 3.6. insurance can cover 28-30k and you can uotta pocket or finance the rest. there's option is all im saying.
Wow that makes it so much more enticing. Is there any more detail you can provide on what they said about that process?

only thing else to note was that a 2in lift is require to clear the 392 oil filter housing and that they usually incorperate the mopar lift but they recommend something better as the new motor is a bit heavier. I plan on running the AEV mojave spacer lift and just swapping in rubicon diesel front springs once i have the 392. U can call them yourselves and they'll butter you all up about it. Plus you get a 36,000/ 3 yr warranty on alll the parts they put in.

Insurance paying for a motor? Without an accident? Never heard of such a thing.

That is a risk if one wants to play the insurance fraud game to try and get a conversion motor swap done. Most insurances will not pay out directly to policy holder and will usually only pay to an approved shop and only for like replacement OEM parts.

There is also a risk the motor swap payout cost will total it and then the whole vehicle becomes the insurance company property then.

Personally I’m not a Mopar guy. I’m forced to deal with Mopar because of Jeep. So, I’d remove a whole bunch of potentially costly variables and unknowns and frankly Mopar garbage from the equation and just do a LT conversion. If being able to say “it’s got a Hemi”, is that important, you can even buy a full diy Hemi conversion for $37k.

That’s a better option than hunting down a wrecked vehicle, hoping it’s only but so wrecked, hoping no one else is trying to do the same thing (you know lots of people are), buy way more than just an engine, try to make up your money by parting out the 75% of what you just bought that you don’t need, and trying to engineer all the solutions yourself to make the Hemi fit. And I’m willing to bet a wrecked 392 Wrangler is more expensive than a crate engine conversion especially if the engine is still good or in even in the thing.

Unless the owners are complete idiots and haven't changed the oil in the 45,000 miles they've owned it. Hard press to find people that dumb that can afford a 392.
You'd be surprised...

you'll lose the t-case u got for the awd or 4auto selec in the 392. not sure if thats important to you but i like having forced 2wd. AMW does make an adapter bracket to mount non rubi diesel t cases to the 392 trans. not sure if they'll sell it tho. U could ask if you can get a discount if you supply the motor and trans and are willing to void your warranty. They quoted me 38k all said in done for a 392 swap. just waiting for my factory warranty to expire now. They also said they can work with your insurance to do the swap, if you accidently "blow" your stock 3.6. insurance can cover 28-30k and you can uotta pocket or finance the rest. there's option is all im saying.
I never heard of that before. Are you speaking of regular automotive insurance?
I am intrigued for sure. Like some details .

I have thought about doing the same thing. Please keep us updated on cost and everything. I would love to do this. I just put a Peddal commander in my 2020. I wounder if I would have to send it in to have it reprogramed for the 392 if I ever get to do the upgrade?

An engine swap in Calif is a bad dream. No crate motors. Every witting loom and sensor must come out of a Vinned vehicle and all be in the same place. It would be easier to convert a 392 Wrangler to a Gladiator.

The only way insurance is paying is with an accident that ruins your motor.
USAA will not cover a BLOWN engine. I would need to purchase an addon insurance policy called MBI Mechanical Breakdown Insurance. I imagine other insurance companies have similar policies. I think AMW is just saying that to lure people in and then, oh the insurance only covered $3k, you need to finance the other $35k. Sales.
