I have a 6.1 engine and thinking about swapping it into my Gladiator. Would it be as "easy" as motor mounts, ecu, and 8 speed adapter?
I'm not opposed to a challenge, I just feel like I'm over simplifying it and missing something.

Would an engine harness from a WK1 make this easier
Not really. You’d have to join that harness to the Gladiator harness.

Ideally you’d use a custom plug and play harness. Expensive, but worth it if you don’t want to spend hours studying wiring diagrams and making your own.

I think a harness and an adapter plate would be your biggest hurdle. you can get a Haltech custom harness for a decent price and idk about the adapter plate.
