I love the ACC, and would get it again. I wish it had lane keeping like many Toyota's have.Jeep doesn't do subtle very well. Slowing down is sudden, but acceleration legs quite a bit. it gets a little annoying when you are continuing to slow down for a noticeable moment after switching lanes from behind a slow driver.
@Deadeye has a different experience with his 2020 LE than I have with my 2021 JTRD. My Gladiator approaches the vehicle in front of me and slows down such that if I'm not paying attention to my speed, I will be traveling exactly the same speed as the vehicle in front of me, going much slower than I want. It gradually slows down and a 10 mph difference between the 2 vehicles isn't obvious except for the air and engine noise.
My JTRD has a lot of torque, so when I turn on my signal to pass, it accelerates rather quickly. I actually wish it would be more gentle on the acceleration when it doesn't see the vehicle in front of me.
