The power is awesome. I am too poor for this lol . The fuel and insurance alone would kill me.

Of course if you price any loaded, v8 powered, 4x4, new truck from the factory you're looking at nearly $100k and you're stuck with a full size. Exactly why even the wife is on board with the 6.4L swap when the 3.6L dies, it's cheaper than a new JT and half the price of a new v8 truck.
Marketing geniuses!

Is it marketing genius or is the JT the only truck on the market you can confidently run the Rubicon in and it's only major flaw both on road and off(not so much crawling, but bombing around in the desert or deep snow wheeling) is the low torque v6? Even if you bought a brand new JT for $60k and spent the $30k for the v8 swap it would still be the best off road truck you can buy for $90k in my opinion.

If you add a 0 on the end. You can easily find unmodified LJs with well under 100k miles for $15-20k. 190hp, terrible suspension compared to the JL, weak axles by comparison. Literally in no way better than a new JL. If you'd spend $100k on one I'm guessing you're to foolish to ever have $100k to spend. Here's the value of one with just 15 original miles. But you could pay 5x that for no reason other than nostalgia.

Not trivial at all!!! Imagine running through the desert at 90mph in a $100k vehicle and a Honey bee smashes into your windshield!! At 55mph those things make a heck of a mess in my $30k vehicle and I’m unhappy. At 90mph in a $100k vehicle it would effectively blind you! The splatter area in relation to the speed of the vehicle and volume of washer fluid has a very real chance of the next whoop being where you said “Whoops!”. Bye Bye Birdy. 🤓
Why would a honey bee be in a desert? Do you even think before you type?

It must have been worth it to someone it is sold and did not take long must have been a decent price to offer it at.

Whew! The temptation is gone, thank goodness. My bank account can sigh a sigh of relief! 😅 Having a unicorn build up like that would have been cool though, no matter what you use it for. I went through a similar situation when I sprung for my 392 but regretted the purchase six months later and it’s no longer in the stable. I hope whoever bought it enjoys it!

Yep. There are most definitely bees of all types in the desert. I’ve been swarmed by many of them. Hornets, wasps, honey bees they all are out there. Go out to the desert, open a can of any kind of sugary drink and leave your windows open. They’ll find you.
