The round mount that says "Trailer Brakes", does it sit flush ?? I just did this install tonight and it sits a little off the dash. It clicked in and is tight, but just off the dash a little

Yes, just a tad. If I would have tried it before setting it in I may have tried to open the hole or whatever. Its not bad though.
Show us a picture when your done.

Yes what @KVJ said, it will sit off a little bit. It wasn’t enough to bother me.

Thanks, just making sure I didn't screw something up, looks like there another ring, slightly bigger at the very backside that is hitting ... It's tight and clicked in so I think I'll just leave it as well. Time will tell !! Thanks again.

I placed a rubber O ring around the gap. Gave it a nice finished look.

I didn't notice that when you posted it before. That looks nice.
Now that I looked at the other pictures I'm wonder why @jwilson2899 has a knob that the lettering "REDARC" is in red and ours are white?

It's a special secret :)

So, the scoop is, I had the regular white background knob like everyone else. Then when I was looking for something on their website for the Redvision on my Patriot Camper, I noticed the Australian version of the controller comes with the knob with the red logo on it. I liked it to go with the red on my dash, so I wrote to their Australian customer service to ask if I could buy just the knob from them direct. Clearly they took pity on me with the money I've spent and sent me one free of charge.

that's a great idea. What size o-ring did you use?

I went to Lowe’s, plumbing section, bought the variety pack of O rings. Not exactly sure what the sizes were, but I used the 2 largest diameter rings. The skinnier of the 2 first and then the fatter ring.

Awesome, Maybe I'll make a quarantine escape trip later and check it out.

Sounds to me like @jwilson2899 has had a few too many Foster's....
Fosters would be a lot cheaper, lol. Between the brake controller and the battery management system on my trailer, they have plenty of my money.
