@steffen707 & @smlobx: Fun fact - your right turn signal now has two blinkers, the right taillight and the AluCab center light! :CWL:

Discovered this when a friend called me while driving behind me.

I kinda like having it sync up with the emergency flashers, but would rather it behave the same no matter which direction I'm turning...

lmao, wonder if that's illegal. So you're telling me I should have wired it to the 3rd brake light on the tailgate? UGH.

YUP, which honestly kind of explains why that lead was longer than the canopy lights I think. Oh well, weekend project I guess.

On a side note...

‘’The Alu-Cab racks are great if you need to set up a clothes line in your garage..We are spraying our clothes with Permethrin to keep the skeeters away for our AK trip..

I gave you complete directions to remove it here https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/alu-cab-gladiator-bed-cap.30322/post-502036

should be easy after your cleanup. BTW, what is that a picture of? Looks like an almost 90% pavillion with a small shed under it with a walk up ordering window.:like:

Update on my bedslide. Had about 400lbs on this weekend and it worked well. It did have one issue. When the slide is closed it barely reats on the front frame crosspiece. The idea was to take some of the load off the platform and support bearing slides. Enough weight and the platform nose sagged enough to hit that crosspiece pretty hard. So I made up some mounts for conveyor bearings. These nicely ramp up the front of the slide so it always skims over the crossbar. Worked slick.
Also completed the two rear mounts. Stainless brackets. Drilled two 3/8” holes in the bed opening frame for bolts.
