Do they put the 392 Wrangler hood on with the “Hydro Guide” CAI system? Looks great.

Looks like it will be back to Calif soon. As it's already registered in Calif will you have to get it smogged here soon and how will that go? I am getting 4.88s installed soon for the 37s. How would they do with the 6.4? I hope they wake up mine.

In my case I am leaving ca very soon but AMW is working very hard to make this Ca compliant. I will try to find more info next week when I pick it up. The 4:88 gears should be fine, mine is 4:56 with 37's I will let you know my cruise RPM and milage soon.

Looking good! You are going to love it! Now get out and drive it and prepare for sore cheeks from the smile you will have. Sometimes wish I would have done the 392 or 426 instead of the 5.7, not that the 5.7 is not enough but bigger is always better right? Enjoy it man!

Well, I made it home, had a great journey with my son and it ran flawless. I can't say enough about the entire staff at AMW we were treated like royalty the entire time we were at the shop, if anyone has this conversion done, I highly suggest flying you to pick it up. We spent almost the entire day at the shop it was a great experience to share with my son which is a total gearhead like me.

The shop is spotless, and everyone will stop what they are doing and explain the process to you at any point, the atmosphere in the shop has a good vibe and it shows in the work they do.

I was under the Jeep admiring the work and the next thing I knew Jarid the owner of AMW was under there with me. He noticed some exhaust clearance that wasn't to his liking so we climbed out he took it in the shop and when we got back from lunch it was perfect.

The power is so good, and the transmission programing is so much better than any stock vehicle I have ever driven. I averaged 15mpg going between 75 and 80 mph on the 2,800-mile journey home.

As far as Ca Smog goes he is in the process and is working very hard to make it a reality. If anyone has any more questions let me know. I am sure I will think of more things and update as I get more miles on it.

So how are you getting around the smog inspection issue in Cal? Registering it in a different state is not an option for me.
