SoCal, cold to you guys is what 65 degees? LOL
It was rough today, only hit a high of 69. I did some trout fishing in the mountains this morning and it was a brisk 35 degrees. Coldest temp I’ve seen in SoCal since February of last year.

It has been a minute since i posted.
Since my last next Venture bumpers are installed, BD rear lights and a set of LP9 Baja design light up front. Turn these things on and I can light up the rocky mountains from here.

The BFG 39 spare rides on a AEV vertical rack. Blocked the review that why we have two outside mirrors.

Genesis remote battery (Dual batt) to be installed and this will power the accessories and the bed sockets. need to design a rear cabinet for the battery, power hub and ACCUAIR controller and remove the little rear seat.

EoC is in the house and installing this weekend along with a PSC full steering system, pump, box, cooler and ram. From there maybe a couple weeks from now the suspension system.

Cheers

Just finished the EoC exhaust install and new Computer tow program. throttle response is very snappy. Fuel mileage went from 22.5-25.5 in mixed traffic. No drone in the cab. Looks real good so far.

It has been a minute since I updated this post.
EOC delete is running great lots of power and still getting decent fuel mileage.
BFG 39s are working great in a mix of on road and off.

Added Accuair's Air spring suspension. This is going to be an overland rig that will see some harder trails so I wanted the ability to be able to carry a bit more without dragging the rear around. The addition of being able to level the truck in a camp site is a great feature as well. The install eats up the spare storage space so the spare is on an AEV mount in the bed behind the drivers side.

Yeseau FTM 500 dual band for comms. mounted the head on the dash and the body under the rear seat. Clean install with minimal mess.

Genesis dual battery take up the under rear seat storage with a Group 31 "aux" battery and buss bar

Star Link Mini is being mounted on the roof to keep connected and provide cell comms in remote areas.

ICECO 65 qt fridge/freezer is mounted on a platform in the bed with a slide of easy use. To power the fridge installed a Genesis remote power station with gauge and on/off switch.

Teraflex trackbar and track bar brace are installed to keep this thing pointed straight down the road.

To shed some light on the trail I have a pair of Baja Designs LP9 mounted up front. 12.500 Lumens should do the trick.

OVS 3 man tent is installed atop a exo-rack with a soft topper hiding under to keep the bed dry.

Also found a deal on an 8 gallon solar water heater which is installed atop the rack just behind a OVS 270 awning. Almost ready for the west coast trip. Rubicon here we come.

So you saw an increase in mpgs after the tune? You're getting 25 on 39's?

Corrrect , disclaimer, this was before the rack and tent installed. Driving responsibly good fuel mileage can be had. I have noticed that above 65 mileage tends to fall off. Now that the rack and RTT is installed I am expecting 17-19 on the highway over a long run.

I believe that I am going to be doing the EOC Stage 2 single tow tune as well. My understanding is that with the stage 2 single tune that I can still utilize my Tazer. I am assuming the exhaust that you got is the T&S that EOC sells. Is yours a straight pipe exhaust or muffler? Aluminized or the 304 stainless? Did you get their transmission tune as well? Last but not least did you do the work yourself?

For my install I am not using a Tazer. Yes it is a stage II tow tune to try to keep EGTs down without having to upgrade the turbo and injectors. Cool is also a limitation to big HP.

Exhaust is from T&S thru EOC. It took a log time to get everything shipped. the exhaust is with a resonator. It has a nice rumble and a bit of a roar at WOT but not harsh. The exhaust is Stainless. I did buy the trans tune but have not installed it yet.

Running BFG 39s with 4.56 gears current trans tuning works pretty well. Heard good and bad on the tow tune, will likely load it after the west coast trip.

I do all my own work. It is too hard to find a good reliable shop out here. The whole install took a day. Remove exhaust, seal all the sensor plugs. Pull the ECU and replace with EOC ECU. startup and drive.

I plan to do my own as well. From what I've seen it doesn't look too difficult of a job.

It is not, just time consuming and it would help to have a second pair of hands with the exhaust.

Been working on drivability. Since installing the ACCUAIR suspension the Jeep is very vague, steering wheel input are more suggestions than commands. Hard breaking makes for a very squirrely time. After doing some steering tests in the garage I found that the ACCUAIR control arm 1) flex and 2) the rubber bushings deform. Removed the control arms and reinstalled The Clayton control arms and the vague feeling is greatly reduced. Also Installed a Teraflex forged track bar up front.

If Dynatrac can deliver this week will install new Ball joints before the trek out west.

How did you attach the ACCUAIR ride sensors to the Clayton control arms? Did you make mounts for them? What did you have to do for the calibration after installing the Clayton control arms? Very curious as I have the lift with the piggyback shocks installed on my Mojave. I have also noticed some vagueness in the steering.
