Anyone ever swap out the 3.6 gasser for the 3.0 diesel?

Could you elaborate on this please? Are you suggesting there is some tuning that can be done with this 5-series computer system? Or is that something to do with this AEV calibration is out of whack?
I bought a Snap and did not see the same kind of tuning minutae that the Tazer had. I do believe that the proper calibration of gearing and tires with the Tazer would alleviate some of these issue

What RPM are you running at 70?

I've had fast cars before, and while this Jeep is by no means a sports car, I find it hard to believe you're having trouble keeping it at 70 with 5.13s and 37s. Maybe you got a bad batch 3.6?

I usually have to run at 65-67 so at 70mph, I think I'd be at around 2200-2300. I'm not exactly sure. Riding two-up and with some of the hills we encounter here in Kentucky, it for sure takes a lot of pedal to maintain speed. I do not feel like the vehicle is at all comfortable at 70 or north of that.
Now, I do see jeeps fly by me on the highway, and often. All I can imagine is that they have those nearly floored. No this motor IS NOT adequate. Towing would be laughable. Maybe Jeep forgot a piston or two, because at no time ever has this thing felt anything other than weak.

Copy that...

This is a naturally aspirated @bruiserpower LX3 6.6 liter gen5 engine that started its life as an L8T with a small cam, valve springs, Trunnions, and pushrods making 575 hp and 602 Ft-lb of Torque to the flywheel (spinning 42 inch tires) through a ZF 8HP 8-speed (fully functional) transmission. This conversion retains all factory options that the Jeep came with from the factory. We call this the "fully integrated" package with flawless operations!

I have no problem getting up to 90 to pass traffic on 2 lane rural highways. It's no sports car, but it does well for me. I'm driving a four year old Overland with 47k miles that is all stock.

That's not bad at all.

Well, that sounds ideal. No supercharger and making that power.
My Suburban has a 12 psi blower to go north of 500 to the wheel. But it achieves that at lower revs and maintains it for most of the RPM band.
I think I would be interested in that 6.6 conversion.
So 6.6LT/8 speed vs a 6.2LT/10 speed
The future is bright indeed!

Nothing better then having options; especially reliable ones at that.

Also in KY and will likely have my EcoD up on stands for a rotation in the coming weeks if you wanted to examine the frame close up. I have less than customary exhaust equipped as well so you'd be able to easily compare routing 1:1 assuming you brought yours.

I dig your idea, it's just absurd enough to warrant some additional time and exploration although I think the unicorn swap would be that Cummins 2.8 mentioned previously.

Where are you located?
I will not be going with the ECO diesel. Having benefited from some of the shared thoughts here and in consideration of excellent swaps that are out there, I'll be going that route, I think.

We have both the JLURD and a JTRD, nd I love the diesel. With that being said, I think you are smart to move on to a big Chebby gasser.
The EcoDiesel JT doesn't compare to stock 6.7 Cummins Ram or newer Duramax Chevy. I know, I traded a 2015 Cummins for a 2020 Duramax, then traded that for the 2021 EcoDiesel Wrangler. Six months later I gave the Wrangler to my wife and traded her car for the 2022 EcoDiesel Gladiator.
Like I said, I love both of the EcoDiesels, but I think you'll still be disappointed with the power. Especially with a boosted Duramax at your disposal.
I'd like more power, but not ready to play the warranty game, by going with a green diesel tune. But I probably will once the warranty is up. I might even have to take a little vacation trip to Canada at that point.??

You would be better off doing a hemi swap at Rubitrux in Boone, more than likely cheaper and more power. Or if your doing it yourself save even more money. A Hemi Swap is like $38,000 for Rubitrux to do it, I would imagine to do a engine, transmission and fuel system swap it would be well over $38,000.
