Anyone install Night Vision Camera?

I knew it had to be something good ! First I've really thought about NV in my Jeep... I bet it's one of those things that once you have it, you'll find all kinds of things to do with it... lol

It’s ridiculous, which is exactly why it makes perfect sense for a Jeep.

Pretty much every little boy from the 70-90s all wanted NV at some point. Now we're all adults and can make it happen sooo....why not lol. I have a few thermal scopes because I could and they are SWEET!

Yea, why not? I must have watched Navy Seals(starring Charlie sheen, John Conor from Terminator and the All State insurance guy) a hundred times and always wanted a thermal scope. Thirty years later, prices finally came down enough so I went and bought one.

Skip to 1:10 for the thermal scene. Although, I am still waiting for thermal tech that can see through concrete.

Yep thermal has definitely come down in price a lot. Still expensive to a point but something anyone could really save for. I am waiting for the EM-1 Rail-gun.... shoot some deer before they even think of crossing the road.

Agree 100%... I have early Gen-1 NV monocular... its decent, really excels with good moonlight. I've looked at thermal scopes many times, but I do not hunt, I target shoot... but I definitely think it would be beneficial in the right situation. I definitely need to update my NV, I'm sure tech is better and $$ hopefully isn't a premium anymore.

My first comment (drugs) was because there was an individual that got butsted using NV... don't remember exactly, but high end corvette/lambo or similar running completely blacked out, maybe 2-4 am , would use NV on the back roads in a rual area, I think he was clocked well over 150mpg severaltimes... they couldn't figure it out for awhile... but made sense once they caught them.

Yep I know they run thermal and NV for drug runs. I have a middle of the run thermal, it's cool but definitely not useful unless your killing shit or shooting at night. During the day time if you have sunlight on the back side of the target your can pick up the heat coming though your bullet holes at 200 yards. Thermal can be used day or night which is why I went thermal.
