Anyone installed Xtreme Recon Fenders on JT?

Installed the front, they sent two of the same rear so waiting to install.

That's funny, they did the same to me. Fronts were correct but received 2 Rear lefts, having to return and have the correct one shipped out.

Got the passenger side done this morning. Thankfully don’t have to drive the jeep around looking all wonky anymore …. By far one of the easiest projects I’ve done.

I ordered from BAM and got two front rights. Replacement sent fairly quickly (after several chats and email). Actually worked out bc I only had to order one more front to put them on the rear. Going to be my weekend project to get the rears done.

Got off a little early today and knocked out the rears when it was cooling off. Been over 100* here all week. Overall I like the fronts on the rear. Will see if it makes any difference next time out.

• I put the flare on holding it in with the second hole from the bottom the flare and in the first rivet on the JT.
• Marked the end with tape then set it against the front flare to match the angle and adjusted the tape. Cut off the end and that first hole on the flare.
• Once cut worked my way up from the bottom.
• Guessing you could do it with out the splice cut, but would be a challenge - thanks @RCKLNDR
• The inner fender is a pain. It wants to push away when you drill the new holes. Toward the back you can hold it with your hand, have to get creative as you get to the middle and end.
• Had to redo a couple rivets to get it secured.

Just came to the conclusion that they will not the euro Gladiator fenders. .
These already have a little extention.
If you redrill all the holes, the front can fit for 90 %.
Rears not. They are curved differently...

Finally got around to installing the recon flares today.
fronts were super easy, rears needed more work to make the shape conform and with more drilling for extra rivets. It was dark when I finished but I'm pretty satisfied with the install, they should be secure. On my Mojave. Thanks to those that posted advice in the past, made it easier for me and I knew what to expect.

Here’s a pic. Basically there are bends on two different planes so there is a lot of fight when trying to shape it. Notching makes it more pliable.

Bump since it just caught my eye that famous YouTubers have gone down this road as of late.

Well, installed these flare extensions on my Australian spec Rubicon the other day. NONE of the holes lined up as the Aussie/Euro flares are a bit different (similar to US spec Max Tow, apparently). But with a bit of help from a friend, a 1/4” drill bit and a plastic rivet gun that repeatedly seized, I got them to fit. First side went slowly as we carefully lined things up, but once we figured out alignment and technique, the second side went much faster. I’m happy with the final result.

Just to clarify, since I'm too lazy to read the previous 100 posts: you used (4) front extensions - 2 left and 2 right, but all of them are spec'd as "front" - correct?

I got the regular kit with two front and two rear. I’m not a big fan of how the fronts look when adapted to the rear fenders, but I don’t see why you couldn’t make them work on our fenders with a bit of trimming. They don’t really help. I use them due to tire coverage laws so they suit my needs. You just really need mud flaps if the goal is to keep stuff off the side.
