For those that are interested, I reached out to Armorlite support asking if they are planning on a JT release, response below:

"We sure are! This model is expected to launch early next year. You can sign up for our mailing list at goarmorlite.com, to receive updates and pre-order info on the JT flooring when it’s available."
Is this Armorlite like the rubber floor linings in the mid level F150s? I want it if it is. My 2013 F150 STX had an amazing rubber/vinyl floor "full covering". I can broom and wipe faster then I can vacuum these damn carpets and I did put some great liners in the front of my JT. I will look it up.

Edit- Ehh, Maybe. Looks great but pricey. I will keep en eye on it though. Thanks for the heads up.

Well no carpet in my 90 XJ, 91 MJ, I pulled it out of LJ when I ran with out top but have put most back in since I have the hard top on. And we'll yes the transmission tunnel gets hot the floor on my XJ is discolored from the heat. The bed liner I put in MJ is like ABS plastic and brittle it's melted in places. Will I be pulling carpet out maybe to clean it or if I have top and doors off for extended time.

I have a husky and a baseball player. Been thinking about it for the hair and the dirt.

How much did that run you? Looks great.. any noticeable difference in noise or heat?

How is lizard skin different from bedliner (or is it just a type of bedliner..)? I had a TJ a while back that I Herculined the floor, I never regretted not having carpet but I didn't like the Herculiner product much, very gritty and rough. This looks much better

Mine has been out since June. Even with the colder weather it isn't going back in. I do have weathertech mats though that do a really good job of keeping me from dealing with much exposed floor. Honestly they almost kept me from having to remove it, but the rain would get just the smallest corners and then never dry due to the high humidity here.

Honestly having a soft top I don't think there is any additional noise at all. It seriously sounds the same.

I am at the point still wondering how the truck came with carpet on the flooring.

Scott, I bought the kit directly from Lizard Skin. I got a two gallon bucket of the thermal barrier and a two gallon bucket of the sound barrier. The kit comes with a spray gun and stirring rod. I also got six cans of the top coat spray, all for about $500. Lizard skin is made to spray on the interior or exterior. After it sets there’s no lingering odor when it gets hot. It’s a four day job with all the prep work, but well worth it. It ends up about as thick as two credit cards and is very durable. I covered my entire floor, and a rear seat delete, and still have a a little left over. I also have the Hothead liners, so the ride is quiet and temp is comfortable. I have Weathertech floor mats in the front to reduce wear.

Ole Red would be yelling his head off about now :CWL::CWL:Thanks for this. I can remember being shocked the first time I saw carpet in a jeep. Now it's good to see it out again. This could be a thing?! On a GC, no way. But for JT? It could look totally cool dressed down. I'll bet we've got a new thing coming. Beat up JT's. (Not pictured, just sayin). We're almost two years in by now, some must be beat to hell out there. Tear out the carpet, take off half the roof. Def a thing

For anyone familiar with our Hothead Headliners, we have an option for Sound Assassin strips to go on your hard top prior to our headliners that many customers opt for for.

We also have Sound Assassin Floor Packages for the Gladiator (and Wranglers) that may be a great solution for those interested that is the same material as our SA strips in the hard top packages.

Strange looks like they only have the front.
Bet they initially primarily developed for the JL (larger market) and since the JL/JT fronts are the same, ta-da they can offer the fronts.

This was very common when the JT was first released with anything in the rear interior, floor mats, seat covers and so on, since the JT rear is different than the JL rear.

I love these. Does anyone know if there's a void around the trim pieces where the carpet was, or is it designed to take up the space where it was?
