I have 35 12.50 17 RG's and they are WAY more quiet than the KO 2's I took off. I truly can't hear them but that may not be every one else's experience. I run 40 miles of interstate every day and they are extremely smooth on the road too.
EDIT:
I had KM 3's not KO 2's on my JT. However I did have KO2's on my Colorado and had a shaking I could never get balanced out. Could have been a bent wheel from the factory. Either way I'm happy with the Nitto RG's
Yup not a comparison with KM3s, those are mud tires, better than an MT though.

I just drove almost 4000 miles on 37ā€ KO2ā€™s and they are quiet (they have 40,000 miles on them and are still quiet, only rotated them one time after 34,000 miles). At hwy pressure were great out west on dry rocks and a little mud/sand they have out there.

Iā€™ve had both tires on many different rigs and will only run KO2s from now on. My JT tows to the Max, Overlands, does truck stuff and off roads in moderate to difficult dry (not a rock crawler).
I run pressure at 37 - 40 on ā€œDā€ load range.

awesome on road, off road, rain, snow and even ice (they are incredible in snow I donā€™t know why a few people on here say they arenā€™t good on the snow). I got into some really bad weather a few times this last winter and had 0 problems in deep snow 10ā€es+ and 1/2ā€ of ice. Still was able to drive in 2wheel drive most of the time.

andā€¦ they look awesome with my beautiful Woman on the hoodā€¦ šŸ˜

Both the BFG T/A K02 and Nitto Ridge Grappler are a solid choice for consideration for your Gladiator as noted by the first hand comments from members running them.

If we can help in any way please let us know.

I've been running 35-in. Nittos for two years now and have no complaints - non-existent road noise was also a factor for me. Happy thus far -

I am running Nitto Trail Grappler M/T's 315/70/17 'E'
I know not exactly what you are looking at but, super quiet for the first 10K as the lugs wear and the space between them opens up, they do make a little more noise. Still not bad.
What makes noise is the air gaps between lugs, especially in the center of the tire. The closer to a solid linear line of tread that you can find, the quieter they should be.
Also, I have HotHeads roof liners, they made a huge difference on wind/road noise! I am hard of hearing from years in a shop and now I can actually have a conversation in the truck. They do make a noticeable temperature difference too.

Tire rotation also plays a big part. Rotate regularly and your ears and wallet will thank you later on.

I ran the ridge grapplers for about 10K miles and couldn't stand them. Were terrible in mud, and barely close to adequate on wet pavement. Worst thing was road noise as they wore. Started out surprisingly quiet, and then bam, they get really loud over time. I know they all do that to some extent, but I switched to the patagonia MT in 37s and never looked back. Over 20K miles and they were fine. Can't compare to the KO2s though. I am running the falken ATs now, and they are good enough, but this Jeep isn't going offroad.

Rotating only front to rear also keeps them quieter.

Crossing side-to-side will make them louder.

So did your muddy roads get paved or did you get another Jeep?

Only for a few days, then they quite down. I do a complete 5 tire rotation too.

I've had both......for wet traction day to day driving in rain.....KO2s all day. The KO2s have a slight softer compound which is better for rain. The RGs I have on my JLUR are tricky in the rain now.......they just want to spin over 25% throttle.

I only have 20k miles on my RGs (still look new, but starting to dry rot/crack) my previous KO2s went almost 65k miles before they were worn out.

Just my feedback and experience.

I've done both 4 and 5 tire rotations.

The sets I have done 4 tire rotations on and only rotated front to rear are quieter after 25-40k miles.

Goodyear MTRs were the first set I noticed this on. Had a set of 5, did a 5 tire rotation. Liked them so much I replaced 4 of them. Did just a 4 tire rotation on the new set.

From my experience, both are low road noise but they also both suffer lower performance on wet roads. The MT Baja Boss AT has much better wet road handling with the same quiet, dry performance. The KO2 is going to be a tad small too.
YMMV
in my experience most AT tires outperform MT's on wet pavement and packed snow/ice

I'm at 46K on a set of 35-inch KO2s. I've never had an issue with the noise, even running doors off for a good part of the summer. I do a bit of snow driving, so I leaned away from the Nittos because of that. I'm bumping to 37s at my next change, and looking at KO2s or Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs for the snowflake rating.
