Been following this thread and haven't said anything, this is your best design.

As an avid 3D printer myself I want to ask, will you sell STL files for non-commercial use?

If you haven't seen these new Hyundai headlights check them out for some inspiration.

As much as I like them, I feel like they need some sort of edge or raised portion around the perimeter of the housing ….something to give it some substance.

The perimeter of the light seems to get lost along the truck. I see that the edge is beveled, but I wonder if it would look better with a raised edge all the way around. Kind of like the channel you were making for the led strips to sit in.

So the reason for the chamfer is these things are now 15mm thick.... I feel if I took out the chamfer they would look really beefy......

Not even saying there needs to be a lens/light in there. Just some sort of defined edge. What you posted above looks very nice tho!

I don’t think it needs to go all the way to the light housing. I would stop it at the vertical line in the top band.

To me, this is the ideal design, I am indifferent to the other comments about the length/symmetry of the side marker, but having the ability to swap the rear-facing light is a huge plus.
