Loving this design the best of all the others. It honestly looks perfect! If I were able to afford these, they would be the ones I'd purchase. Keep up the outstanding work!
Here they are lit up

Not sure if I am being very picky but I don’t like seeing each individual LED. I guess it helps if one goes out but is there a way to have them on the side and not omitting directly through the lens? I am thinking it is just that particular LED strip. Looks awesome other then that small item.
I like your pickiness it's okay lol. You just say what I think I need to do, but then I'm like ahhh it's good enough. I have redesigned it with a deeper slot now so I can try turn the LEDs sideways and hope I can get enough light output to make it look like a nice solid light....

Also need to get some foil tape and put it inside the channel to reflect the light everywhere.

I wanted to have a completed set by the end of this weekend but took the boat out yesterday instead.... So hopefully during the week sometime I'll have a completed set for my jeep lol.

Anyways, hopefully printing the last prototype now ....

So does everyone like the latest design the best? Is there a purpose in other versions???

I have refined all my other versions where they are a little better.... But I'll stop working on them if this is "the one"

I'd buy this version. But before I did were you still thinking of doing a sequential signal light? I'm not sure how it would fit into this design, but like i said I'd pay whatever you charged for it. And not that I couldn't give my 1st set away to some lucky local Jeeper, but if there's still room for a sequential turn light I might hold off a bit and not buy twice. That being said these are sharp IMO.

My personal set will have the outside perimeter as sequential :)

So yes I will make it an option.

I'm still looking into LEDs... I have some I got today that are very bright ...

Problem I'm facing is defusing the light where you don't see the individual LEDs.... The only solution so far is depth... And I'm trying to keep these shallow.

I could design a light guide lens like what bmw uses... Where you would use 1 led at each end of the lens and it would reflect off little triangles spaced at very short distances. But then I wouldn't be able to do sequential.

Maybe you can see what I mean by this picture

I am more partial to the rectangular strip LEDs with the reverse in the middle with some type on the side. The more I see these the more I think they are a unique design and not trying to revise another design.

Glad I am not causing heart burn and maybe a bit more of an internal voice. I am really liking how these are turning out.

In all honesty I can produce whichever tail light.

I also like the rectangle. I'll probably add the exterior perimeter to it and see how it looks

I really like the look of the full rectangle but with the perimeter meeting from the sides.

How hard would it be to make the rectangle/reverse light be raised and parallel with the tailgate? I really like the look of the final OG version, but like the rectangle shape more. You could ship it as a kit to be assembled by the customer and they can paint the main housing to match their body color Like I would. I would like to make it blend even more with the body lines.

Yes, especially if you figure out the individual leds showing...

I already have the perimeter finished for this design... I can easily raise the rectangle.....

Everyone wanted "flush" lights so that's why I design all the other styles flush lol .. give me a few minutes
