Can’t wait until you want to come to Reno and bring a pair to install on my Gladiator (bought 3 days ago)… I’ll host!
Oh man. Read the last few pages.

@Justinswidebody interested in the files as well!
Well, never got the files, so I drew up my own version. Printed in ABS, still trying to work out the wiring. Pin 8 is lighting fault sense, not sure how I can trick this yet.

So uh… wanna share the files? Asking for a friend… I’m the friend lol

I like the look but would be nice if the light unit sat flush, I guess the issue then is the light is angled and not pointing directly back.

I really like the look, but you might need to check DOT regs to make sure the lights can be recessed that much. I bet there are view angle requirements to be road legal.

I think if they sat flush, it might make it look goofy eyed lol. I could push the light further back which might look better honestly.

I also designed a rectangular set, but with the lights themselves being $200+, I haven't tried these yet.

Also, I'm a little hesitant to share the files at this time.

Yeeesh, the light looks unique though.
As for the files, no worries, figured it’s worth a shot. If you ever get to a point of sharing them let me know!
Looks good regardless

I wonder if you brought the light out until the outside corner was just proud if it would be legal. You would still maintain the french recess which I really like.

I like the first light a lot better, but the rectangle light looks good too.

I think it might look more recessed than in actually is. I'd definitely like to try a less recessed version though, you're right.

I love the look of these, and would definitely appreciate the file if you’re willing to share. My current tail lights are both broken, and they even fell out while wheeling this weekend.
