what kind of lateral cargo rack is there out there that can connect to the left and right side rack to limit how far back stuff goes, like groceries?

Anybody know?
I think there are notches in the wheel well and back part of the bed. Like they would fit 2x4s in the grooves. Seems they could be used to limit cargo movement. Or maybe some other purpose, but can't figure out what that would be. Maybe I've read about it somewhere once, or twice or ... :CWL:

Yeah but with the bedside racks you can't use the slots for 2x4s

Meant as more of a joke, but good point on the rear panels covering the slot. You still can use the one in the wheel well and build something off of that that goes further aft. Of course, it would look sort of ghetto with the nice @BuiltRight racks next to them.

oooh maybe some kind of accessory for the bedside racks to still utilize the plywood rating of the JT?

p.s. I figured it was a joke, but you brought up a good point.
Hey @BuiltRight , you should just sell a kit that comes with 4 L brackets that makes 2 slots, one on each side of the bed for a new 2x4 to go into. Then the owner could move the slot forward or backward (a little anyway) to acommodate their needs.

You guys definitely have me thinking - consider some basic L-Brackets done. These could be used in the configuration shown, but could also be mounted horizontally is you wanted a board (or other) to span the width of the bed.

Fine. Just keep taking my money. Guess I'll have to add those to my order.

But seriously, something that bolts to the rear bed panels 7" above the bed (same height as 2 2x4s on end, since the panels cover the recesses for the 2x4s) to support plywood would be a handy option.

I cut a 2”x6” and put it in there, it’s been working great

I don't think you want it 7" up on the panel, then all the weight of the plywood would be carried by the bolts and side racks. Instead a new slot for a shorter width 7" tall board which translates the weight to the bed would be smarter, IMHO.

There's supposed to be a Mopar cargo divider that attaches to the trail rails coming. I've yet to see it for purchase. Wranglers and Rams have it.

I'm def interested. I'm really into mountain biking so I'd love a place to put my bike tools. The tools aren't really mountable, i don't think but some sort of bag or box attachment would be sick.

Love this product, thanks and look forward to seeing what happens next.

Count me interested too, getting closer to getting back to the states, so I'm finalizing the extras and ideas.

I think below the trail rail, and accessory mounts? I think you've got it, maybe something to hold ammo cans, molle gear and a simple bike fork mount. And with that idea, definitely along the back of the bed.

@BuiltRight when you say the passenger's side won't have the cut-out for the light, does it cover the light completely?

After trying to bungie a fuel can, hand-winch, water, and a high power compressor to the side rails with mixed results during my last off-roading adventure, consider me in the market to purchase these bedside racks.
