YEs, tried my wife's and then her sister's. No luckHave you tried a different phone to isolate the issue?
Thanks. I'll try that and LYKCan you play music without CarPlay? Either via Bluetooth or cable?
If yes, try turning bluetooth off on your phone and plug in cable. If you can no longer play music, it's a cable/port problem.
If no, it's a Jeep or iPhone problem. My money would be on the Jeep but you can always try a friend's or relative's vehicle and see if CarPlay will work for you. If still no - it's the phone.

All 3 phones tried are on the latest iOSMy CarPlay wasn't working in my new truck until I updated my phone to the latest OS
I have pulled fuse 97 twice, and disconnected negative terminal twice. No luckI had to reboot the head unit (hard reset) a few times and have never had the problem again.
I don’t recall exactly how I did it but it involved holding down buttons and cycling the ignition switch. I never touched the fuse block. Maybe search hard reset / reboot Uconnect (8.4). Best of luck.I have pulled fuse 97 twice, and disconnected negative terminal twice. No luck
When you disconnected the battery - did you wait half hour or so? It takes quite a bit of time for voltage to drain from all the capacitors in the system. It's a Jeep problem. Turned off Bluetooth, and I was able to play music from the iPhone.
There are 2 up temp buttons and 2 down temp buttons. Which ones to press and hold? When you disconnected the battery - did you wait half hour or so? It takes quite a bit of time for voltage to drain from all the capacitors in the system.
Other things to try before throwing in the towel and taking it to the dealer:
Soft reset: Press and hold the volume and tune buttons for about 20 seconds.
UConnect reset: Press and hold the mute and enter buttons until the screen goes black
Engineering reset: Press and hold the temp up and down buttons. WARNING: can take hours to reinitialize
