Hello Clayton @Clayton Off Road , I have the 3.5 inch overland plus kit on a 2020 JT Rubicon. Great Kit !! I have been running Goodyear Kevlar MTR 37" for over one year with no problems with rubbing. I have method 703s with 4.75" backspacing.
For my next tires, I am considering the BFG KM3 39x13.5x17. Do you know if I will have rubbing problems during full articulation with these tires - stock Rubicon fenders and liners ? Note: the KM3 is a "small 39" while the Goodyear Kevlar MTR 37's are a "tall 37". I think the difference between the two tires may only be 1.5" or so. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Well I'll just jump in here. I want a factory ride with a 2-3 inch lift. Prefer springs over spacers. I want to run as little a bump spacer as possible. Will use the TF poly bumpstops that add about 1/2 inch of bumpstop. Don't want Geo-brackets. I will add adj CAs as needed to get better caster. Along with any other parts needed. So, here is the question: what do I use. Don't want coils that need bottom plastic pucs to correct spring bowing.
I could start with the Mopar 2 inch kit and just add to it as needed. How much does it lift a Rubicon, how does it ride, Do the Fox 2.5s allow full articulation and compression without adding 2 inch bumpstops? I want it to ride about one inch higher in the rear to allow for overlanding load.
I know that Synergy makes a 2 inch lift spring that is labeled a soft ride. Then could go with Fox done by Accutune.
I want to get this done before WW3 starts.

Check out our 2.5" Ride Right kit. We use a slightly higher spring rate than other manufacturers so you wont have to worry about excessive bowing, the kit comes with front upper adjustable arms to dial in caster, front and rear adjustable track bars to center your axles, sway bar end links and of course new coil springs. This kit is also fully upgradeable to our complete Overland Plus system if you ever want to add on the remaining control arms in the future!

Iā€™m running the Clayton 3.5 overland plus kit on my 2021 JT Rubicon. Cooper discoverer STT Pro 37x13.5 17ā€™s tires. Rock trix 17x9 +12 et, or 5.5 BS wheels. Iā€™ve ran multiple trails in Moab and Sand Hollow with zero rubbing at all. Itā€™s an awesome kit! I just wish my Falconā€™s werenā€™t on back orderā€¦

Truck looks great! Which Falcon shocks did you order? Most Falcons showed up last week :)

My 2 cents. I ran a mopar 2 inch lift, which gave 2.5+ ish, and 37's for 2 and a half years on a JTR. I ran, among other trails, 18 of the badge trails in the greater mountain west. With winch, recovery gear, etc, I always wished for just a bit more clearance. From what I've read, it seems the Clayton 2.5 and mopar give similar lift. I've ordered a new 23 JTR which ships 10/1/22. I've looked at MC, icon, rock krawler, mopar, clayton, briefly others. Based on all that, and factory warranty issue, I'm leaning towards Clayton 3.5. I just wish we could see and try them in person!

I just wanted to show off my 2.5 Overland+ that I finished Tuesday. The 2.5 definitely sits higher than I thought it would. I was concerned that I should go to the 3.5 as the 2.5 wouldn't be tall enough. As mentioned previously, the 2.5 is probably closer to a 3/3.5 inch lift. It will be perfect to keep weight lower but give more ground clearance and enable the 37s. Sorry, I didn't take before and after measurements. It's in getting aligned right now but so far I am really happy I went with the 2.5.

Lol. Definitely just looking for functionality.

Thanks for the replies. A local shop recommended the 3.5 but the 2.5 is where I was leaning. Just wanted to hear some opinions and make sure I wasnā€™t missing something.
The nice thing about the Clayton systems is if you change your mind, the only change youā€™ll need to make is swapping out the springs, add rear brake lines, new threaded rods for the sway bars (you can reuse the ends) and possibly bump stops if needed for tire clearance.

Got the 2.5 Clayton lift with the heavier rear springs it clears 37 inch sst pros just fine. I believe Clayton rates their lifts under full load so 2.5 inches of lift is when itā€™s loaded, you will have close to 3.5 without much weight in it.

Looks great! Our kits do tend to sit about 1/2" taller than advertised, and this if of course when measuring from the rear, as the front end is where some of the factory rake is removed so more height is gained.

We actually don't design the heights based on added weight, it's just that our kits are designed to be about 1/2" taller than advertised. For example, the 2.5" kit is really closer to 3" when measuring from the rear, if you measure from the front, you'll measure about 3.5" because that's where we removed about 1" of factory rake. Hope this helps clarify!
