I’ve never seen this thread before, but I’ve posted pics of the spring numbers of my Overland with every available option’s springs and the take off Rubicon LE springs I basically immediately replaced them with. My overland springs were terrible which is why I replaced them immediately. I hated the floaty ride and sloppy handling and the towing and hauling were sad. The rubicon LE springs are night and day better. I’m still running them six years later. They’re ideal. They don’t ride rough, but the payload, towing, and handling are surprisingly great. I’ll have to search again for the pics. I can’t find them right now.

I know its a weird one to figure out. Does anybody have a 24+ Rubicon Gladiator with its stock coils that could post the tag part numbers. If so then I could see if the number is the same as mine.

John, I see you have a 2020 so there in lies the problem with my question about the change for the 24+ and my oG question. For everything up to 23 it made sense but need to figure out if before 24 rubicon springs are different (better) than 24+ willys springs. Or if they are really using rubicon springs on the 24+ willys or not.

John, I see you have a 2020 so there in lies the problem with my question about the change for the 24+ and my oG question. For everything up to 23 it made sense but need to figure out if before 24 rubicon springs are different (better) than 24+ willys springs. Or if they are really using rubicon springs on the 24+ willys or not.
I have no idea, but if you know how the vehicle was optioned, it helps tremendously. The spring rate is based on the options and weight of the vehicle. The reason why I love my Rubicon LE springs is because the LEs had every available option including the steel bumpers and were super heavy.

As far as I know the spring numbers I posted are the highest for the gas rubicons, 340/343 so that would mean it had the steel bumpers.

My overland springs are in my garage attic. I can get those numbers. I saw that the rear spring numbers were missing.

I think you are still missing the point of my question. Are pre 24 rubicon springs any different than 24+ willys springs? Until sombody post 24+ rubicon spring numbers we dont know if they are the same as my willys ones

I just wanted to provide verified part numbers for rubicon LE springs since they’re amazing imo. It tows and hauls great. I towed and hauled regularly for five years with it before I recently retired it to fun/vacation duty. I pulled those Uhaul 6x12s all over the SE loaded down with heavy antique furniture. People often ask if I have airbags. I don’t.

I got to thinking about this some more today. If the truth is that 24+ willys and rubicons come with the same springs that would likely be both of them with plastic bumpers, no winch... etc. So I bet you a 24+ willys with a plastic bumper (mine originally) and then a 24+ rubicon with a steel bumper would not be the same and the rubicon with steel bumper will still have a higher rated spring than the plastic bumper one. So in theory me getting the pre 24 rubicon steel bumper springs SHOULD net me a change in some way. Just like they always have. I report back with results when I get them and we will all see what the deal is.
