I think making two long ten foot or so ramps out of 2x6 set vertically ,fasten or tie to your rack ends and push up while someone is pulling up also. Whatever you do make it reusable for on and off between camping trips. Make it easy to take on and off and your world will be a better place!

1. Open tailgate

2. Lean tent on tailgate

3. Push tent up to sit on the tailgate and lean it on rack/bedcap

4. Climb my big ass onto the tailgate and push the tent up on top of my bedcap

Where you seeing 250? The site says 180.

On the box from CVT that says:
Gross weight 110 KGs

110KG ~ 250ish pounds

My neighbor saw me standing next to the JT looking befuddled. Helped me get it in the bed. I drove it to work and unloaded it with the crane there. I'll just use the crane to put it on the bed rack once it gets here as well.

I did this with my first tent: A OVS TMBK 2. Truly easy. You'll have no issue. The 250# behemoth XL is another story.

My XL arrives tomorrow, even though the tracking number shows nothing in transit. Luckily the freight Co. called me and we set up a time to have it delivered when she isn't home. I may have forgot to tell her that I bought it, lol. But on a positive note, she will love it, and just commented that we should go camping soon. Now to find a trailer and build a rack for it!

Mine was confirmed on Oct 1st and just received shipping confirmation yesterday. I’d say give em a call or email if it’s been 5 business days since your order.

I bet they’re just swamped with all the orders and trying to fulfill everything.

Tent (225# on side of box; Old Dominion receipt states 300#), 270° awning (also heavy AF), and exterior weather cover arrived today. Still waiting on the interior insulation to be delivered.

I received the small awning and sidewalls for it today. The tent and tent accessories should be here tomorrow and the 270 awning is showing as shipped but the tracking number isn't updated yet. I placed my order on the 2nd.

Did you get the short 270 awning, 79” long it’s supposed to be 42 pounds unpacked? I did not consider that to be too heavy, but if your tent is 225 lbs that is real heavy up high.

FYI they had a price decrease today for what was still in stock. It says 10% for prime day, but my 90 awning and annex went from $344 to $174. I called just now and they'll be refunding the difference, so if y'all bought anything that went on sale today, they will refund to price match themselves.

42 pounds on 79" is 6.5 pounds per foot or half a pound per inch. It's light but awkward to handle; worse I bought the 2.3m / 91" version.
only 5 pounds more than a full 20lb propane tank.

Guys, tell me to STOP. I bought two awnings from Cascadia today to go with the XL Pioneer soft shell tent I bought a week ago. But man, at $99 for large and $68 for small, why the heck not.

It’s definitely giving me the Overlanding bug. Perfect timing too. Camping trip planned before this sale for this month.
