99" Pioneer awning came in. I got the full wall kit and the bug screen kit as well. I'll test fit and get some photos of those tomorrow maybe.

I wish the awning was still available when I went back to the site. I moved the work bench out from the wall, slid the 87" box behind and put the work bench back. Trying to source a trailer (might build my own) to.put the rtt on.

Pioneer awning side wall kit. Man, this thing is very heavy, it's the same fabric as the awning and it has its own ceiling. Also includes a PVC floor that you can zip in place (I just put down a tarp since I was doing this on gravel)... It unzips in the back to access the vehicle and has doors with mesh on the other three walls.

It's super high quality. Pretty fast to set up with hooks along the top sides and poles. One zipper panel along the front, which can stay on the awning when you pack it away. The only tricky part of setup is guiding the vehicle side of the tent into the awning c-channel. There's also no way I'd ever be able to pack this thing up tight enough to fit back into the bag it came in... Unreal that this thing was $75 though.

The only negative for me is that since I mounted the awning as low as I could, it's pretty close to head-height for me and the double-ceiling of the tent room droops a little. It's not a big deal though.

I picked up the screen room for $40 to get the free shipping, and it's very nice too.. I might even use it more often than the solid wall kit if the skeeters are out, since it's very quick to set up, being as lightweight as it is. Zips in the middle on all sides and has its own ceiling (no floor, but it seems extra long enough to not be an issue for flying bugs... I suppose I could use the floor from the solid wall kit even if it doesn't zip in place.

Again, OP, thanks for your post, this stuff is such a nice addition to my camping kit.

Just put a bungee cord across it. Or a cam, or a front runner stratchit if it's long enough.

The droopy part is the inner tent roof, which is like.. an enclosed bubble being held onto the awning frame with clips along the edges. There are no inner loops or hooks to connect anything to. It's a cool design in that rain/bugs can't get in from between the side walls and the awning, but you do have to contend with the slightly lower/saggy top. You can kind of see it in the photos, there's a 2-3 inch gap between the top of the side walls and the underside of the awning. The awning itself has no real sag at all, which is great.

My awning arrived today, now just need to figure out how to mount it on my Smartcap. Anyone mounted theirs without load bars or rack on their cap?

Is there anything on the top of the inner tent (sandwiched under the bottomside of the awning) you can clip to?
If not you could try placing a flat metal plate on top of the awning and a small magnet on the inside of the annex. It'll lift it up. Flat metal outside so it isn't affected by wind. Just make sure the full plate weighs more than the magnet so it doesn't sag the awning.

Well here’s a go from an RSI guy who uses his racks a lot. Remove the plastic end pieces from the rail and set the bracket centered over the joint this gives you a strong point with the angled braces on roof plus at the edge of roof with side strength. Going to drill four holes for each bracket push stainless bolt up from below put on stainless washer with neoprene matching washer under it then stainless lock washer and nut. Then if things clear put a stainless washer and lockwasher on top of bracket and then stainless nut and cap nut on top of that perhaps. Then I will be able to install and easily remove the awning with eight T bolts in track.
You can see my Yakima control tower bases for my removable rack, which is used for surf rods , kayaks lumber and anything else. I am a weight weenie so awning will come off if not using for a while, like after my last surf fishing trip Thanksgiving weekend to perhaps April.
Another typical Jack novel enjoy the read Chesse!……Jack

Nothing to hook into above the tent kit, but magnets could work! Creative solution, I like it sir.

Cheese other option I have is to mount the bracket to my round bars with stainless u-bolts, or even Yakima HD square bars a lot less work but I would not take the awning off the bars and it would go on and off easily but would have to make a lift system to lower it down from garage ceiling have a high enough ceiling it would work, then I would take it off a lot, a whole lot more. and I could get a second set of bars to use if needed to haul some stuff if needed…..Jack
What you really have to do is just stare at it don’t drink too much and come back to it a couple times days later and brainstorm it!
