I laughed the guys at Bayway off the phone. Went with Steve at Mac Haik Georgetown for a build back in May. Its been stuck in JB status for 16 days

Boerne Jeep/Ram in Boerne TX has the same ridiculous protection package on many of their vehicles. They advertise VERY competitive prices online (without mentioning the add-ons).....once you get there, BAM! They hit you up with the add-ons. My favorite....$250 for wheel locks,

Went to Larry H Miller today in Northglenn CO. They had multiple Gladiators on the lot, including a red LE, along with a few base Sport models. Both Sport had "upgrades" totaling $14995, overpriced by $10k buying all the parts separately. This is one of the dealership loops I tried to work with back in June to buy. But NOOO, they wanted $5-10k over MSRP. So I bought mine somewhere else below MSRP. Now they have 81 on the lot, most in the overflow area. Estimated over 4 million inventory dollars sitting.

I went by my local dealership where the guy told me that the best they could do was MSRP. They still had the two they had when they first came out..

I went on your dealership’s website and they are now listing 97 Gladiators as they have a bunch more in transit. I can’t see a business model for having that much inventory unless they sell at least 500 vehicles a month...

And Jeep still won't deliver on firm orders from 5 months ago. Granted these all look like Sports, but WTF!!

WTF, that is totally insane for a dealer to have that many sitting around.

Nothing to this extent. However, one local dealer (MN, Twin Cities) has several on hand with more in transit. They are also only selling at MSRP. Well, they actually aren't selling any because all the other dealers in the area are being realistic on their pricing.

Sales person at this dealership actually responded with a very nasty email when I mentioned I couldn't purchase from them at MSRP when other dealers were advertising openly at less than invoice. Called me a liar and that no one would be "stupid enough" to sell for a penny below MSRP for such a "new and in demand" vehicle. Then claimed interenet shoppers were just a waste of their time. What a douche. After I sent them links to all the dealers selling for much less, including one at 5% below invoice, they quickly changed their tune.

My response was to send pics of us in our new JT Rubicon Launch Edition... purchased elsewhere of course. No reply to date.

Yesterday, I saw a set of 4 lug wheel locks (normal price $52) and front door window tint (normal price $80) for a $1000 mark up on the window sticker. Insulting to say the least!

Yep got local dealer here in metroplex willing to go several thousand below MSRP and I told them at this point I’m waiting on rebates because they are stacking up on the lots.
