We should all appreciate those who buy Jeeps never intending to take them off-road. They are probably the majority. If not for them, the number of Jeeps sold would be so low that neither the Wrangler nor Gladiator would exist, or would be so expensive that I'm guessing neither you or I could afford one.
This is so true but unfortunately lost on many hard-core Jeep fans.

I forgot to pose the question for others with different trims/options: Does anyone have a hard "Max A/C" button in their Glad (or JL/JK for that matter?) I'm just curious.
Those with the 5" screen will be happy for their climate control dial.

I've found that instead of waiting for the unconnect and making my way the the climate screen, the fastest way to get the cabin cold is to just turn the dial all the way up (actual max AC) and then adjust the temp down to low, or really just any temp colder than 75. It's more than 1 button press but it gets the job done faster than the touch screens.

Yes, that's basically the work-around I described. "Max A/C" also includes "Recirc" -- another button push -- but really that isn't needed until all the super hot air is exhausted. I usually crack the window(s) to help with that (more button pushes.)

All this is moot if you have remote start and the truck is cooled down before you get in. Not an option with the 6-speed.

It drives me absolutely nuts that the audio doesn’t match the video when connected via Bluetooth.

To clarify - no I don’t watch stuff when I drive but for long trips my wife will watch stuff and I typically listen or vice versa.

Another neat thing about JT is that even if the AC is off, just turn the fan knob and it "knows" you must want air and turns it on for you. (Overland)

I can see that for sure after dealing with my jku randomly dieing after i botched a spark plug install.

Personally i dont really mind the feature. Sorta got used to it with my wife’s grand cherokee. Not really sure it it saves me on fuel but i like to think its helping keep down the engine idle hours in very small doses.

You have no idea how close you are to right.
My wife and I are amazed at the sheer number of Jeep "Wranglers" of various flavors and configurations there are around here - 99% of them never seeing anything more than a farm road at most.
IF you add in the other Jeeps - Compass, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee (the official vehicle of West Des Moines) it's crazy how many Jeeps are used for daily drives, commuting, grocery-getting. Go to any store or mall - you can pick from several Jeeps to park next to.
If it wasn't for those being sold to people just wanting a cool ride, like my brother, never in a million years taking it into mud, but loving to take off the top and go for an open-air ride, these things either wouldn't exist or would cost a lot more.
Make fun all you want of those driving stock Jeeps with maybe a few cosmetic changes, bigger tires, whatever, but your Jeep may not exist without 'em.

With the bells and whistles the Bronco is getting, count on it being a luxury daily driver.

That’s a concern I have for the Bronco. I think they are doing some great things and will bring much needed competition and innovation to the space but will they achieve the economies of scale that Jeep has which make them approachable to a larger demographic?

She watches from the screen of the phone/ iPad and audio through car speakers. Another vehicle we have (Chevy Bolt) there is no audio lag so I am assuming it is just the software/ hardware?

I thought this had pretty much been solved several BT versions ago.

get vlc player and you can set audio delay to match the voice. likely because its an apple product, whatever you're trying to watch won't be available to anything but an apple player. get a samsung tablet and problem solved.

She has the latest galaxy phone. Doesn’t sync properly on that either.

i've only seen it in vlc with the audio delay option where you can sync it up to match again. i have a bluetooth speaker that even has a slight delay. it's too bad not all video programs have the option for audio delay. for iphone i haven't figured it out because it's all through their software.
