Does the valve move with the cartridge? It's a good copy if it does.

Great pics, I have several OEM. I also have several NON-OEM, maybe I should take pictures like yours so people can see the difference.

FYI: The NON-OEM I purchase came packaged exactly like the OEM you have pictured, none of the ones I purchase came "shrink wrapped".
...same here and mine changed about 5% ago didn't have the green dot. Must be mold being dated in 2020...:surprised:

Valve being the inner disk with gasket in the bottom ? I'll check tomorrow

I love saving money on the cheapest yet most important component of a vehicle....
I'd argue there's plenty of less expensive more important parts on the engine than a 80$ oem filter.

Please expand on that statement.
Well, said motor would run without a filter just fine, albeit at a lower longevity due to increased wear which would multiply exponentially assuming it at least had a cap on it to keep the oil in the engine. Now a 20$ belt, or a 2$ oil pan bolt, or even the 50$ oil return lime off the turbo. All of those are less expensive and would provide catastrophic failure if ran, even compared to a filter running in bypass or fully failing.
