Mweh, only if they believe you after something happens. Which I feel if broken in slowly and oil changed often these motors go easy 100k across the board.

I've been doing this for all my vehicles. I use a sharpie to write the Make, Model, Year, Mileage on the filter box and I snap a pick next to my jug of SuperTech Full Synthetic, ha!! Let the flames begin.I just do this:

Well pic shows Castrol GTX not Walmart supertech which is fine for a push mower no way in heck I would actually put super tech in a 60,000 dollar truck with an intricate valve train system.. Just no way no offense.I've been doing this for all my vehicles. Seriously. I did my first oil change after the free ones over the week and must say, I'm never pleased when I have to break out the mallet to get the drain plug loose3 chances to overfill it, not fill it, overtighten the filter housing, strip the drain plug, and God only knows what else.
you too seems?? like "techs" are confusing Inch pounds with foot pounds hahaSeriously. I did my first oil change after the free ones over the week and must say, I'm never pleased when I have to break out the mallet to get the drain plug loose
How is the SuperTech technically lacking other than your bias of it being the Walmart house brand?Well pic shows Castrol GTX not Walmart supertech which is fine for a push mower no way in heck I would actually put super tech in a 60,000 dollar truck with an intricate valve train system.. Cheaper grade oil , wouldn't trust it .. So yes I am biasedHow is the SuperTech technically lacking other than your bias of it being the Walmart house brand?
I believe I recall a video by the Lake Speed fellow proving that Super Tech was actually as good if not better than the "brands".Cheaper grade oil , wouldn't trust it .. So yes I am biased![]()
Because it is a decent oil that carries the current API, ISLAC GF-6A and where grade applicable, GM DEXOS licensing and meets MS-6395 specs. Plenty of oil analysis reports on the internet to include a few I have personally ran that show the SuperTech oils meet the requirements for grade and specifications listed on the packaging. SuperTech depending on locale can come from blenders like Warren Distribution, Mobil and Citgo. Most places do receive it from Warren Distribution.I believe I recall a video by the Lake Speed fellow proving that Super Tech was actually as good if not better than the "brands".
Well, Me and Lake definantly don't see eye to eye there besides I am at least 1 foot and half taller than him anyway !!!I believe I recall a video by the Lake Speed fellow proving that Super Tech was actually as good if not better than the "brands".
