Does anyone make a low current set of auxiliary switches?

I would like to control some low current things (5 amps or less) in the cab. A set of 4 to 6 OEM looking auxiliary switches, kind of like the Voswitch JL300, that fit in the factory auxillary switch location would be great. Or better yet, a set where half the switches were low current and half the switches controlled relays in the engine compartment.

You can make the Voswitch, or any of its equivalents, low current by swapping out the fuses to match what you want to connect. The advantage to the design is you keep most of the wiring out of the cab at a central location. Otherwise, you have a lot of power wires running to switches and then out to the devices, that have to be properly fused with switches that can handle the full load for the device.

The reason I wanted to avoid the Voswitch and OEM accessory approach is that the loads I want to switch, in addition to being low current, are all near the drivers seat. To me it doesn't make sense to control a low current load near the driver with relays in the engine compartment.

But it would still be nice to have a factory looking switch panel.

You might be able to find a 3-D printed blank plate to put in the Aux Switch spot that you can mount switches to. I'm not aware of anything readily available for what you want. You might check out the various providers and see if you can get just the plate and then modify it to fit your needs.

It might not make sense to you to have the fuse block and relays under the hood, and you could locate the Voswitch or others I assume under the dash, but it is so easy to come through the clutch grommet in firewall with a bunch of wires and so easy to work on under the hood instead of under the dash. I have four circuits to my bed and one to my GMRS radio under the dash with my Voswitch , so also nothing under the hood, although most people do add driving lights…….Jack

There is also the sPOD Bantam which can control 8 circuits rated at 30 amps at 12.5 VDC per circuit and can be expanded to add additional sPODs for more circuits if needed. I would suspect lower amp items wouldn't be an issue for it. My Gladiator came with it already installed but so far I have not hooked anything up to it.

In the end finding a used Voswitch JL300 on eBay made my decision. It was cheap enough that running extra wires from the engine compartment doesn't bother me any more.
