I like this but wish it were available for the Driver side since I already have items mounted to the passenger side and for ease of fill up already being on the driver side. Shame.

The mounting kit that comes with it works for both sides. Looks like they meant the rail adapter kit only works with the passenger side? I’m emailing them for installation instructions since they aren’t on the site. I also bought a venting/locking cap for it since the one that comes with it doesn’t lock. If you use the mounting kit they provide, I recommend stripping the paint off and either use rust neutralizer then topcoat or use bedliner. The paint that comes on them is thin, flakes off and rusts. Also get some stainless fasteners to replace the ones they provide.

https://ai13.us/collections/everything-pax/products/airovent run them in all my cans, and between SxS and Jeep I have 10
These things look awesome, definitely adding them onto my to do list. THANKS!!

I bought something similar, but much cheaper, off Amazon. They SUCK. They were great at first, but no real way to tighten them unlike these which come with that black plastic tool to hold them in place and not spin. So now they spin and leak and have gotten all rusty looking, can't even loosen them anymore to vent and they've only been on a year or two.

That is slick!!! Says it can be mounted on either side.

I'm going to assume it will not fit the drivers side because theres an additional bulge above the wheel well for the filler hose.

After I noticed that it was leaking and under enough pressure to almost explode, it’s time for a change. Really like the metal Jerry cans but haven’t found one that mounts in the bed. Well there was one, but it mounts in the spot I’m using behind the driver’s side wheel well and I’ve got a toolbox there. Any recommendations?
This is not a flaw in the Rotopax. If you think 100% sealing a gasoline container without leaving any way to vent out pressure is okay, well, you're gonna have a bad time.

Save yourself a ton of effort and some money and just vent the Rotopax.

Significantly cheaper than Rotopax. Better made. GREAT vent. Came with both FAST nozzle (which is what initially attracted me), as well as the CA compliant nozzle - which immediately met my trash can.

As soon as I received one, I immediately bought a second.

I picked up a couple jerry cans from https://colemans.com/ , put them in a water pump roll cage, and rachet strapped them down. Cost me about $60 since I had the water pump roll cage laying around. I can grab a picture if you want to see what this looks like.

Yeah most of those are going to be the red/yellow version. I have that earth tone sickness mentioned above. I’ll check some of those though. Maybe the outdoor related sites will have the NATO type cans.
I bought my dark green one at Lowe's of all places.

And they are available in colors that aren't fire engine red, although you (unlike me) may not have a mini-addiction to earth tones.

Ha, several of them I have are in earth tone colors "green or tan" but some I have are in red. :like: I'm sure most of my NATO type cans are red. . . or were before sun fading. My Scepter ones are "earth toned" tan.
