Door hinges chipped up ?

Not a whole lot available for JT yet that includes door mounts

The JL/JT hinges are the the same.

I can't help with the chips, but once you fix them I would add a PPF to them. I just got these in the mail so I haven't installed them, but they look well made.

I have hinge chips as well as rear fender chips through the protective film and a few on windshield cowl and frame. Although I’m ocd for paint scratches/chips I think I will just touch up and keep trucking.

I would not remove the hinges unless you plan on repainting the door, the doors are painted with the hinges on them effectively sealing the connection between the two.

What do your rear fenders look like? I noticed mine are beat up. I’m guessing this was before my Rokblokz but not sure. Hopefully the new rock trajectory isn’t causing this.

that’s coming from other cars as well as your own tires.
reLly wide rock rails are the onlyway around it

I got mud flaps and touched them up. I did put and keep covers on them but I layered plastic dip on the covers and they are now textured matte black a great match for the door handles. The covers look fantastic plastidipped. The hinge covers look better than painted stock metal in my opinion. Breaks up the door in a good way. If you use the touch up pen right it's almost impossible to tell.

I’m not taking much damage since RokBlokz , mostly prior to them.

Obviously before the rockblokz when I realized the performance rock rails were not cutting it. The paint pen worked great to touch up and re clear coat the hinges before I covered them.Admittedly I rushed the touch up and it was still fine.

That looks great. Did you pull the hinges to do that or just tape them off?

Bedline them. I'm thinking about doing mine. Had them done on my Old JKU and it lasted for the last 5yrs I owned it
