Having been somewhat under-impressed by the small and flimsy bungee-rope-mesh door pockets I have been looking at replacement options such as:

Jeep Gladiator Door Pockets / Storage! IMG_8771

Or

Jeep Gladiator Door Pockets / Storage! IMG_8772

But I would love to hear from others about what you have installed and what you like or don’t like about them. Any particular brands I should look at or steer clear of? Any and all feedback is welcome.

(Also I have manual seats as get as fitment and space goes.)

I got the metal ones with a star cut out for xmas.... love them... tough enough to hang stuff on as well.... just watch the depth... long legs... touch both sides and can seem cramped if you aren't used to it.

Not a fan of the molle panels. Most of them sit so close to the seat when the door is closed that you can't actually use them as a molle panel. That and you'll crack your knee of them and it sucks. I've got a couple scars on my left knee from mine.

I bought these- From Hooke Road https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F8VPTD7N?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

I don't really use the door pockets, (my wife does which is why they're all stretched out) and wanted to keep as much room as possible, heard too many warnings about deeper pockets hitting your leg. Just wanted to tighten up the original look, these claim to be tighter and have a middle support. It's been too damn cold to install, so they're still sitting in the box.

Thanks for the tip about the long legs. I have those. 😂

Too cold here to mess around with my JT as well, so frustrating. Would love to know how you like them when you do get them on.

I got the DV8 slim ones for the front and regular for the rear. Much better than the netting.
I was looking at the DV8 ones too. Seem nice and sturdy.

I have the generic molle panel type off amazon. I think they have a star or a flag on them, I don't f'ing remember and don't care. They were cheap and easy to install and perform eleventy billion times better than the useless nets....which are still there under the added metal door pocket things.

I don't jam much down there in those things so their functionality is not that important to me, but they do help. They hold my pew-pew just fine and a little jug of hand sanitizer and catch french fries and gummy bears I might drop while driving.

The only drawbacks for me are, as others have mentioned, my left calf hits the front of the metal door pocket if I sit a certain way. Not a big deal but it happens. And on the other end my seatbelt can sometimes snag on the rear corner of the door pocket. Also not a huge deal but I have to be mindful to make sure that when I put on my seatbelt I'm not catching it on that corner.

But overall, good to go.
