Well for the first time since I took delivery of my Gladiator (ordered 5/19, delivered 7/19), with the original factory batteries, today I got the dreaded Auto Start/Stop Unavailable, Service...(the system).
So, having said all that, I know some or most of you, have done the AS/S battery delete with appropriate Tazer AS/S delete.
So, how difficult is this to do? Should I get the stealership to do it or can I get my local (favorite) mechanic to do it? Yeah, it's probably getting close to time to replace the main battery anyways, but now it looks like I need to do the AS/S delete as well.
Interestingly, I have never used it as it's the first button pushed after starting up (the second one is the butt toaster, as I love my heated seat and how it makes my lower back feel much better
) so I really can't understand how it went wonky but, here we are.
So, again, how difficult is it to delete this horrible option? Better to have the stealership do it or my mechanic?
