Is there anywhere safe to download the GrdDrivers, pcmflash-1.2.0, and Scanmatik_2.21.22_Setup drivers? I managed to loose the CDrom that came with the SM2 Pro I bought sometime back. I tried to download some latest drivers I randomly found out there but I continue to get this error> Guardant dongle not found: Make sure that Guardant dongle is connected to the computer and the latest Guardant driver is installed.

Things are tough when you are not a computer guy. I found an old computer here and put in new hard drive and memory...that works.

Downloaded the software from here. Plug everything in and keep getting this error over and over. I have tried to get the 2.21.22 version instead of the 2.21.21 version of scanmatik but cannot find it. My J2534 is very Chineseium....says SM2 Pro (22 and then chinese characters). I verified that it was 2.21.21 version when I bought it but nothing I do can get me past this error....any idea??

Does your SM2 Pro have a version sticker on it? That's the software version you want to use. Also, do you have the flash drive that came with your kit plugged into your laptop?

Anyhow, after going through the cloning process myself and having sent out my PCM to GDE and installing the tune this week, I've learned that I can flash between stock or GDE ECU and TCU tune at anytime with the programmer GDE sent, which means I don't necessarily have to swap out my PCM when taking it in for warranty work. I wish I knew that, otherwise I wouldn't have gone through with a clone PCM.

Yes I have the proper usb dongle and it is plugged in when I took the screenshot....you will get a different error message if the dongle is not plugged in.

I have read on other forums that when you get this message uninstall and reinstall and the message goes away....not in my case. So that's why I'm here...I just assumed that someone has had this problem.

I'm considering buying another kit as I did not get software with mine....no CD....just the dongle. I did buy mine new off eBay. The ad did say scanmatik version 2.21.21, but I cannot figure out what is wrong because I have followed all the instructions found in the powerpoint here......I went so far as to print them to have them right in front of me. Just cannot get this to move forward.

Any other help??

I believe I ran into that problem and did the old turn it off and back on trick to get it working. Also there was something about the auto/on/off switch only being a 2 position switch and needed to have it in a position where the lights were on.

I have the disc and can pull the software off of it if you want to try the version from my disc which is 2.21.22.

I know the instructions explicitly say not to let the software update, I turn off the Wi-Fi on my laptop before I even start the program to prevent it from happening.

you can use a translator on your phone app like google lens to translate the Chinese characters and see if it reveals more info.

Ok....even though the eBay ad said 2.21.21.....I installed Vette Moto's 2.21.22 and it worked just fine.

Now....next question....I have a used ECM.....do I need to wipe it or overwrite it? I'm getting ready to pull my ECM from my Gladiator.

Such a good feeling to see this work. Thank you to everyone for help!!!!!!

The flashing process wipes the storage before writing the new code

You just overwrite it, you could pull the flash off the used ecu and store it on a pc if you were inclined.
